Week 2 of our Summer Coed 7s league, back to regular schedule (no competing world cup games).

All games this season are on the Davison Turf Fields at the CFC complex on State Street.

Pink vs Black: 3-2

Teams were missing players due to summer holiday and mexico world cup festivities but overall a good competitive start to this Summer 7s season.

You asked, we listened. As part of our expansion of our adult soccer program, we are launching a new 6 week womens 7v7 league on Wednesday nights.

Registration will be open soon. Registration deadline will be July 15, same format as Tuesday 7s with individual registration and teammate requests.

All skill levels welcome, and all positions!

We are back to 7v7s league on Tuesdays starting this week, Tuesday June 30th. No more open play on Tuesdays.

Week 1 Games will be played on the Davison 2 turf fields starting after the youth practices. This allows us more space away from active construction (and wayward shooting by teams).

This is gearing up to be a highly talented league. Here's to a fun, respectful and entertaining summer league under the summer sunset and light at CFC.

CFC Adult Soccer Members and local community showed up in mass at World Cup watch parties for USA vs Paraguay here in Salem, Oregon.

and (both The Bad Space and main pub) were rocking yesterday as the US men ran out 4-1 winners.

We have decided to cancel open play tomorrow night (Friday). Everyone we asked informed us they would be watching the world cup and not attending open play.

We start our summer schedule this week:

All open plays move back 30 minutes to start at 8 30 PM, all on Davison Turf Fields at CFC

Tuesdays nights until June 30th
Every Friday night except for Capital Cup weekends (end of June)

Taking advantage of evening light and cooler temperatures while increasing our open play space. We hope you can join us this summer!

Registration for our next 7v7 league is now closed, a few weeks before our deadline. The return of some regulars and players of our last waiting list meant we filled up in record time.

For those who did not register, we can add you to the wait list in case of injuries.
