I’ve officially reached the 10 year mark of consistent exercise. Back then I told myself I’d be the best fitness coach I could possibly be. I would master as many areas of fitness as I could, and I would lead by example. I have always believed that if I’m going to be the coach, I will have done it first. I don’t believe you can truly understand what it takes to achieve anything if you haven’t done it, and I sure as hell will never be a hypocrite when it comes to telling someone what to do. Here are some hallmark achievements that I’ve had over the years. In order of achievement:
1. First 1000lb total
2. 65inch box jump
3. Balance Mastery
4. First 405lb Bench
5. First 500lb Squat
6. Parallet bar handstand jump
7. First person to record and achieve the “Textbook Ton” Challenge
8. Human Weighted Back Lever (blessed to have done this with my love .sims_xo )
9. 650lb Deadlift
10. 315lb Strict Shoulder Press

I’ve dedicated myself to calisthenics, plyometrics, powerlifting, bodybuilding, cross training, and rehab. I’ve done all the book work, read thousands of papers, and applied the data firsthand. None of these tasks were easy and all of them were full of countless failures, injuries, and setbacks. Each of these has deepened my knowledge and given me the insight to be a better coach.

To all my clients, friends, and loved ones that have trusted me with their goals. Thank you. It’s been the best 10 years and just know if you’re with me, I’m pushing forward with you.

Struggling with making progress? Feel like you’re spinning your wheels with workouts? Finding it difficult to know what’s right or wrong in the health and fitness industry?

Maybe it’s time to sit down with a professional and get some guidance. With the new year here, most people start their health and fitness journey on their own and I promise you that is a mistake.
Is it possible to figure it out on your own and progress from there? Sure.
Is it optimal? Absolutely not.
The best thing you can do is sit down with a professional and start the conversation to get an idea of where you need to be.

Message me if interested.
If not me, then here are some other local professionals that I highly recommend.

This guy is one of the best athletic trainers I know. He has worked with many D1 athletes and has collegiate level training experience. He will take your athleticism to its highest level. He’s also a super nice guy so you’ll love your time with him.

rippleeffect She works best with females and I promise she will get you to your goals. She is focused and genuinely cares about her people. There’s a reason her clientele speak so highly of her. Your success is her guarantee.

not only is he an IFBB pro body builder, he is also a stellar coach developing individualized plans to get you where you need. If you want to guarantee success, he’s your guy!

Have you had or have a coach or are you looking to find one?

Now vs 6months ago: 205lbs vs 228lbs

Transitioning the look of my body into Men’s Physique has been no easy task. Movement selection, posing practice, diet strategizing, etc. all went into this change. Hiring .havens and was a vital and necessary move in unlocking this.

I believe a good coach leads from the front and these guys are in the trenches with me. I’ll never have enough good things to say about these men.

Last year , , and asked if I would coach them for . I said yes, but if you know me you know this... I will NEVER coach something I also haven’t been through and done. The best coaches need to know their clients journey inside and out.

Here I am, 8 days out reminding myself of why I do this. I do this to inspire, motivate, and grow those around me. Sure, I enjoy how I look and feel, but the real reason is to show others anything is possible. You can achieve what you believe. You just need the right people in your corner.

If you want to make any changes in your life, reach out and let’s set up a plan 💪🏻

Accountability post for everyone reading.

“But I don’t have time to go to the gym” are the same people who 5 minutes later tell me they binge watched an entire new season on Netflix in one weekend. It’s never about having the time, it’s about making the time. You only get one body and you only have a relatively short time frame to maximize its potential. YOU ONLY GET THIS OPPORTUNITY ONCE IN YOUR LIFETIME. Do not waste time with things that don’t nourish your body. You may tell me you don’t have time but I know everyone on here has at least 2 hours a week to move. This post isn’t about turning into an elite body builder, fitness influencer, or top tier athlete. It’s about taking accountability in your own life and asking yourself are you doing what your body needs or are you being lazy. I could tell you how hard I have it or if I can do it under my insane lifestyle then you have no excuse, but I won’t. Why? Because what others are going through DOES NOT MATTER. Stop comparing and stop using others as some form of justification to your poor choices. Take an inward look and ask yourself why.

Again, you only get one body. You NEED to be taking care of it. The degree of that is up to you, but the standard should be the same: stop being lazy, get up and move.

Currently sitting at 205 this morning on the InBody scale sitting around what I feel is like 6-7% body fat. InBody says leaner but I know I have more to go. 4 more weeks to really lock in and keep grinding. I’ve gained over 10lbs lean mass this year so that’s cool. My bulk ran from September to May. .havens and I have really been putting the work in and I can’t thank him enough for his support and coaching.

Now and I have to really dial in posing 🕺🏼

Next post will be from stage shots 🦅

See you all there 💪🏻
