Important: Dancers interested in auditioning for the 2026-2027 USD Dance Team must attend both the clinic and audition. The clinic is open to high school students grades 9-12. The audition is exclusively for high school seniors and current college students.

5 years ago today we sadly lost one of our beautiful dancers, Haley Takeda. Her legacy continues to live on through our team, we miss you Haley🩵

Sarah Bryn Owens is a 4-year member of the USD Dance team. She will be graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science, with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Communications. During her time at USD she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority where she served as the director of alumni relations and an active member of Alpha Epsilon Delta pre-health fraternity. She completed two internships with Kaiser Permanente and Sharp healthcare. Upon graduating, Sarah Bryn will be staying in San Diego working in medical device sales at BRIJ medical as a clinical account developer.

Sarah Boland is a captain and four-year member of the USD Dance Team from Honolulu, HI. She will be graduating summa cm laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. During her time at USD, she served as Vice President of Risk Management for her sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, and is an active member of the USD Honors Program. Upon graduating, Sarah will begin pursuing her MBA in Global Marketing in Barcelona.

Sophia Fawaz is a captain and four-year member of the USD Dance Team from Orange County. She will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Sociology, and plans to continue her education to pursue a career in the field of biology.
During her time at USD, she has been involved in numerous activities outside of the dance team, including membership in Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and serving as a Panhellenic recruitment counselor for two years.

Emma Applegate is a four-year member of the USD Dance Team from Minnesota. She will be graduating in May with a Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in Environmental and Ocean Science on the Marine Ecology pathway, with minors in Biology and Environmental Studies and Policy. Upon graduating, she will be attending graduate school in the fall to pursue a Master’s degree in Marine Biology. During her time at USD, she studied abroad with Semester at Sea, has served on the student council and social media team for the Environmental and Ocean Science department, and has been a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT✨🩵
Ayden Ehlinger is a second-year member of the USD dance team. She will be graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science, majoring in Neuroscience, minoring in Environmental and Ocean Science, and plans to begin her career in administration for biotechnology and medical devices. During her time at USD, she held a variety of different roles on campus including serving as a tutor in the USD Athletics Department and as a Scholastic Assistant for new undergraduates. She is so grateful for her teammates, coach, family, and friends who have supported her.
