The Precision Performance Institute is a place to improve health and human performance.

Through our own research and in collaboration with other professionals (e.g., doctors, physical therapists, nutritionists, researchers, etc.), we believe that we can enhance the exercise training approaches for individual’s exercising with a pulmonary condition. We just finished up our summer testing.

From postural assessments to strength and power testing, objective data drives every training decision. We assess movement quality, identify limiting factors, quantify performance, and individualize each athlete’s program.

If you’re not assessing, you’re guessing.

Big congrats to Desi on earning All-League recognition after an impressive freshman season at Marin Academy.

As a freshman, Desi committed to the process early, showing up consistently, putting in the work in the gym, focusing on gaining muscle mass, improving his explosiveness behind the dish, and building the strength and power needed to compete at a higher level.

The results on the field followed. Desi became a key contributor for Marin Academy, earning All-League recognition and making an impact throughout the season with his offensive production. He finished with a team-leading .378 batting average, while posting a .467 on-base percentage and .556 slugging percentage.

Recognition like this comes from the work nobody sees, the early mornings, the consistency, the discipline, and the willingness to keep improving.

What stands out most isn’t the award. It’s the mindset of investing in the process as a freshman and trusting that the work would show up when it mattered.

Proud of what Desi accomplished this season and excited to see where that mindset takes him next.

Congrats, Desi. Keep building.

Wishing Carson good luck as he heads off to summer ball with the Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp.

The last 6 months weren’t easy. Coming back from Tommy John means showing up day after day, trusting the process, and putting in work when nobody sees it. Carson fully committed to rehab, getting stronger, moving better, and rebuilding confidence.

+15 lbs later, he’s heading into summer ball bigger, stronger, and ready for what’s next.

Proud of the work you put in, Carson. Excited to see where the game takes you next.

When JP came in last fall, he had one goal: to be the best.

For 5 months, we focused on building muscle, increasing strength and power, and fine-tuning the physical foundation needed to perform at the highest level. The work was consistent, intentional, and done long before the season started.

The results:
⚾️ MCAL Champions
⚾️ MCAL All-Time Strikeout Leader
⚾️ MCAL Pitcher of the Year

Awards, records, and championships are earned through the work nobody sees. JP committed to the process, trusted it, and showed up every day ready to improve.

Proud to have worked with him during his senior year and watch him accomplish what he set out to do.

Now he’s heading to Ole Miss to continue his baseball career. Excited to see what comes next.

Congrats, JP. You came in to be the best, and you left your mark as one of the best to do it. Your story is only getting started.

Congrats to Hunter on earning Second Team All-MCAL.

He approached every session with the mindset to improve, constantly pushing to build more strength, develop more power, and become a better athlete both in the gym and on the field. Every lift, sprint, and rep had intent, and his consistency and work ethic showed up when it mattered most.

That work translated directly to the field, where Hunter became a key contributor for Novato High, producing at the plate, holding down first base, and building the velocity needed to step up and close out games when his team needed him.

Recognition like this comes from the work nobody sees: consistency, discipline, and showing up with intent every day.

Proud of the work Hunter put in and what he accomplished this season.

After 4 months of training and working alongside the Napa Sheriff’s Department, we wrapped up our final session with performance testing this week.

Supporting tactical professionals goes far beyond strength and conditioning. It’s about helping build resilience, durability, movement efficiency, and the capacity to perform under demanding physical and mental stress, while reducing injury risk and supporting long-term health and career longevity.

Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to work with an incredible group of professionals committed to improving themselves, their performance, and ultimately their ability to better serve and protect our community.

What often goes unseen is the sacrifice involved in this profession, the long hours, missed time with family, physical demands, and the daily willingness to put others first to help make our communities safer and better places to live. That level of service deserves recognition and support.

I’m grateful for the trust placed in me throughout this process and appreciative of the effort, professionalism, and consistency shown by everyone involved. Working with individuals who dedicate themselves to protecting others is always meaningful work.

Thank you to the Napa Sheriff’s Department for your commitment, your sacrifice, and your service. I look forward to continuing to support tactical athlete performance and hopefully working together again in the future.

Congrats to Dalton on an incredible season and helping bring home the VVAL Championship for Petaluma High.

Dalton committed to the work long before the season started showing up consistently, building strength, improving explosiveness, and developing the physical qualities needed to perform at a higher level.

That work carried over to the field, where he became a key contributor in helping his team win the VVAL Championship at Petaluma High.

Championships aren’t built overnight. They come from months of preparation, consistency, and putting in the work when nobody is watching.

Proud of the effort Dalton put in and what he accomplished this season. There’s still another year ahead.

Congrats, Dalton. Keep building.
