Our Varsity team decided to take up bowling as our pre-district team bonding this year! We played two games, one with and one without the gutter rails. Rylan Essenmacher won game 1 with the gutter rails up with a score of 122, and Katlyn Dickendesher won game 2 with no gutter rails with a score of 121. The girls had a blast and are ready to take on districts! 🎳🏐🐺

🚨 Senior Spotlight: Ryleigh Moore #15 🚨

Favorite volleyball memory?
While there are so many good memories, I am very grateful for getting to experience being put on varsity my freshman year, and receiving all the support from the seniors that year.

What will you miss most?
Honestly, I think that I will miss the feeling of getting a kill or a good block and having the girls celebrate with me. I'm never going to get to touch a volleyball in the same way again. I can still play volleyball for fun, but it will never be the same.

What are your plans after High School?
I will be attending college to pursue elementary education.

What is your dream career?
I would love to be an elementary teacher at a christian school.

Are you involved any other sports/clubs?
Volleyball since 8th Grade--Varsity since freshman
Basketball since 3rd Grade

Advice to underclassman?
Always be kind and put others before yourself. Always cheer and encourage others, and do things even if you're scared or worried you'll look silly.

Favorite volleyball memory?
every moment I get to spend with my team on and off the court, also playing grannie in the harbor beach locker room every year.

What will you miss most?
peppering with my best friend taylor

What are your plans after High School?
working towards a degree in denistry

What is your dream career?
dentist

Are you involved any other sports/clubs?
band, nhs

Favorite encouraging or sports quote?
“back row you should be like two ships in the night.”- mogz or “bump set spike.”- also mogz

Advice to underclassman?
have fun and make the most of the time you have because it goes by fast

🚨 Senior Spotlight: Mia Jacobson #8 🚨

Favorite volleyball memory?
Getting to play volleyball with my older sister Elle my sophomore year.

What will you miss most?
Getting to have the escape of going on the court and not having to worry about anything else in my life everyday.

What are your plans after High School?
I plan to go to Ferris state for my under grad in human bio to eventually go to DMU to become a podiatrist.

What is your dream career?
My dream career is to be an Orthopedic surgeon who discovers a way to prevent tragic muscle injuries in teens athletes.

Are you involved any other sports/clubs?
I run Track, the yearbook editor, and in NHS

Favorite encouraging or sports quote?
Don’t get too close to the forest where you cannot see the trees. Or Psalm 118:22

Advice to underclassman?
Push yourself to your maximum potential. You never want to end your career feeling like you could’ve done more.

Doing 30 in 5 at practice, lol. But really, my teammates

What are your plans after High School?
Go to college at SVSU to become a pediatric occupational therapist

What is your dream career?
Pediatric Occupational Therapy

Softball, NHS, Band

Don’t take it too seriously, and learn to become close with your teammates.

Favorite volleyball memory?
When I was playing against Memphis and the middle hit the ball and it hit me dead in the face.

What will you miss most?
Probably the team and just having fun playing it.

What are your plans after High School?
I plan to attend college to become an oncology nurse.

What is your dream career?
Oncology Nursing

Basketball and softball
