Our founder started as an intern coach 5 years ago after being away from the game for 25 years. He asked for an opportunity, committed to the process of being GREAT and doing whatever was needed to help the program. He learned the game from a leadership perspective.

After 2 years of learning everything he could he started the Utah Islanders in 2023. In 2026 we are playing some of the best collegiate programs in the entire country.

He is the example of what happens when you seize the opportunity.

The islanders Most Wanted…. If you are looking for a career is sports we are a great stepping stone. We encourage ideas and creativity and hard work. Football is not just about the team you see play on Saturdays.

The real team is the ones who don’t get the attention, the touchdowns, or the sacks. None of those things are possible if the infrastructure isn’t there.
