Local Labor

The wife and I spent the day working on a job restoring/repairing a brick paver patio/walk way. The blocks are about 120 years old.

The clients deceased husband worked for the city of Mount Pleasant decades ago, and when they tore out the old streets he saved some of the blocks. They installed them at their home together. There are still some in Mt pleasant. They have collector and historical value, but they also have sentimental value. They are very cool and old school looking.

When sanford flooded they were covered in silt and dirt, and sod grew over them. Most of them were completely barried. We carefully dug them out and are prepping the area to reinstall. They will be all cleaned up and looking sweet again. Not many companies do jobs like this, but we are glad for the opportunity. We are also doing some landscaping and swapping out an old flag pole etc here.
