What an incredible few days! Our 2026–27 Minnesota tryouts have officially concluded, and this year marked our highest-attended tryouts in Catalyst history! 🤩

Between private evaluations and our scheduled tryout sessions, our staff had the opportunity to evaluate OVER 200 ATHLETES interested in joining Catalyst Softball!

We are incredibly grateful to every athlete and family who took the time to come out, compete, and learn more about our program. The amount of talent we saw throughout the evaluation process was incredible, and we could not be more excited about the teams we are putting together for 2026–27!

As our rosters continue to fill, we do still have a VERY limited number of openings at select age levels:

🥎 12U National: 1–2 athletes | Any position
🥎 13U/14U Gold: 1 pitcher or position player
🥎 15U/16U National: 1 pitcher

Whether you are looking for a competitive home, year-round player development, elite coaching, or the opportunity to compete against top competition, we would love to see you on the field tomorrow!

• We are creating 4 new Gold teams in SD (11U, 12U, 14U, & 16U)

A huge congratulations to our 16U National Hoover team and 14U National Robson team on bringing home championship titles earlier this month!

🏆 14U National Robson — Uncle Charlie’s Northern Champions in Green Bay, WI

So proud of both of these groups and the way they competed, represented Catalyst, and finished the weekend on top! These championships are a reflection of the work these athletes and coaches have put in all season long!

We are building year-round teams at the 12U-18U level with opportunities for every athlete—whether your goal is to compete at the highest national level or continue developing closer to home.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐤𝐨𝐭𝐚?
We are excited to introduce Catalyst Gold teams! Gold teams will compete primarily in local and regional events while receiving the same elite Catalyst training, coaching, and player development as our National teams—all at a lower club cost and with less travel.

Our National teams will continue to compete against the best in the country, and in select age groups we will once again combine Minnesota and South Dakota athletes to build the strongest, most competitive rosters possible!

𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐎? 𝐒𝐎 𝐅𝐀𝐑, 𝐒𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃. 💥🏔️

Our 16U Catalyst National Hoover squad has been on an absolute tear at the Triple Crown Colorado Sparkler/Fireworks Tournament, finishing a perfect 6-0 in pool play against some of the top competition in the country.

The Sparkler is the nation’s largest and most heavily recruited softball event, and earning 1st place in their pool has punched their ticket into the 16U National Fireworks Power Pool tomorrow—where they will battle the best teams in the country in bracket play.

The offense has been nothing short of electric with 💣 16 HOME RUNS in their first 6 games out here.

So proud of all of our girls and coaches who have been putting Catalyst Softball on the map this week! Keep it rolling ladies!!! 🩵🥳

Two of our 16U Catalyst National teams are headed to Colorado for one of the top tournaments in the country, featuring some of the best competition and heaviest college coach presence of the summer!

Best of luck to 16U Catalyst National Schellhammer and 16U Catalyst National SD Hoover teams as they compete on one of the biggest stages in club softball! 💪💥
