If teams are in need of players, these players may be available to play for your team for one night, or even a full Season commitment. Teams are responsible for reaching out to available free agents. Using a free agent will consume a roster spot on your Team Roster with a maximum of 15 players. Unless a Free Agent commits to playing on another team later throughout the Season, then their previous roster spot will be removed.

Free Agents are locked on a team after playing with the same team in a total of 3 games, which makes that player eligible to play with that team in the playoffs. Otherwise, Free Agents are not locked on a team, unless it is agreed upon with the team and the Free Agent involved.

If anyone else is interested in playing Flag Football, but currently does not have a team to join, then consider becoming a free agent and getting an opportunity to play. Please contact the League, or message Russel Rhyner, Rudy Rhyner, or Riley Rhyner for more information.

Official Team Rosters

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_n-dOeZkLY1k1jOnJS-Z0ASOy4sbo8QV/view?usp=sharing

15 players total is the maximum accumulative number of players allowed on 1 team throughout the Season.

Players must play 3 games with 1 team in order to be eligible to play for that team in the playoffs.

Teams are only allowed to play with 3 maximum accumulative number of players from a different team, on a different League night.

All players must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older.

All players are only allowed to play for 1 team on each League night. All players are allowed to play for 2 teams on separate League nights.

Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in a forfeit for all games found in violation. Team Captains are expected to ensure their Official Team Roster remains at an acceptable standard.

If there are any spelling errors, please message the League page for any corrections that need to be made. Please remember when players are signing in to play each week, to make sure their writing is legible, and only full names are applied. Please no nicknames, as it may result in an additional roster spot being filled by mistake.

Any further questions, please message the League page.

Thank you.

☆☆☆SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES☆☆☆

This Season, the Wausau Area Flag Football League - WAFFL would like to implement a new strategy towards supporting the overall longevity of the League.

We have been considering Sponsorship opportunities for awhile now, however, there has been some hesitation due to the reality known that a Flag Football League does not have much to offer in return of a Sponsorship. We had to consider what do we have to offer.

We currently have:
1. Presence in a great community.
2. Exposure to potentially 240 Players.
3. Popular location by our League host.
4. We can Like/Follow on Media Page(s).
5. Affordable entry level sponsorships.
6. Multiple Sponsorship Teirs.
7. Potential Yard Sign Placement.
8. Weekly Sponsor Media Post.
9. Exposure & Support of Local Companies.
10. Confidence with a League of 34 Seasons.

After careful consideration, we have decided to move forward with the request for Sponsorship opportunities to help assist our League with financial support towards opportunities such as maintenance of field care, and other future developments.

All Sponsorship offers & requests will go through a screening process prior to acceptance. This is due to some obvious reasons. For one example, it would be hard for us to help promote another bar, when our hosted location is a bar. With that being said, it would also not be ideal to turn down funds from a business willing to support our League. In response to this, we have created 3 different Sponsorship Teirs for this Season to give everyone an opportunity to support the League.

----------------------------------------

Teir 1: Hometown Huddle
This teir allows any company, or even an individual to support the League at any amount of $1 or more. After an amount is received, 50% of the amount will go towards the League, while the other 50% will goes towards the League Championship Payout Amount, originally a $700 Payout. An example of this would be if an individual player or company wanted to support by paying $20. Then $10 would go towards League funding, and the other $10 would be added to the Championship payout, which then would create the new amount of $710 Total. In this Tier, there would not be any limit to the amount of Sponsorships from Individuals or Companies. This teir would also fill the void for Companies or Individuals that could not make it through the initial screening process. These Sponsorships would then be listed weekly to display all of the Local Hometown Support we have received.

Tier 2: Sideline Showcase
This teir is for accepted weekly sponsors at a Season rate of $100 total. The WAFFL page will "like" and "follow" any media sites from the Sponsor. Each week, all sideline showcase sponsors will have yard signs with company logos set up at the entry/exit of the game field. These sponsors will also have a Sponsor Profile post made displaying specific information about the company. They will also be scheduled to be a Weekly Sponsor which will include a post including the Company name as the sponsor of that week's Tuesday and Wednesday Games. If available, Sponsors may also set up booth areas, or display product of the game week of their sponsorship.

Teir 3: Premier Partner
This Top Teir is reserved for the Playoff and Championship Sponsor at a Season cost of $200 Total. This will also include everything a Teir 2 Sponsor receives which is Media Page recognition, displayed yard signs throughout the Season with Company information listed, Sponsor Profile, Weekly Sponsor Listing, potential for booth areas, etc. But in addition, they will be the Weekly Sponsor of our high profile matchups of two weeks of Playoffs and Championship Game. This also includes Sponsorship mentions for end of Season Championship & Trophy Post.
