Supporting Detective Kyle Gilmartin
On the early morning of Thursday, January 11, 2024, Detective Kyle Gilmartin, a dedicated officer in our city of Scranton, faced a life-altering incident while protecting our community. Detective Gilmartin and his fellow officers were responding to several shots fired calls when they came under fire from an armed individual.
Detective Gilmartin displayed immense bravery but was unfortunately struck and severely injured in the line of duty. As of now, he remains in critical but stable condition, receiving the best care from the intensive care team at a local hospital.
At Electric City Axe Throwing, we believe in supporting our local heroes. We are deeply saddened by Detective Gilmartin's situation and want to help his family during this challenging time. We are organizing a special fundraising event in his honor.
Join us Tomorrow at our facility to raise funds for Detective Gilmartin's family. All proceeds from our axe throwing activities that day will go directly to support them.
