Hey folks I’m donating my time to help out Friends of Ennis Creek in Port Angeles to restore the last salmon run in that town. I’m providing social media and marketing strategy to boost their presence. Their key issue now is working with state officials to get the contaminated soil from a logging mill removed from the creek’s mouth that runs into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The creek’s mouth was once the site of a S’Klallam village. Follow us on IG at Friends of Ennis Creek, and also on SubStack and FB. Get in touch for details. Thank you! Friends of Ennis Creek

Yesterday while paddling Seattle’s Shilshole Bay I came across fishing line dangling below a popular dock in the marina.

While removing it to prevent entanglement with sea life a little fish was caught in the net which was difficult to remove. Fishing line are another version of beach debris to keep an eye out for.
