Math 101: need Qty(2) AN-8 to AN-8 male fitting. The cost to order one was $8.95; however, the cost for six $16.00. Not sure on the supplier pricing model, but the decision was easy.

May 16 racing season at el mirage is quickly approaching. Remember to get your 2026 SCTA rule book, and pay attention to fire bottle certs (2-years) and safety belts (5 years, 3 years after 2 year cert). Made a little lifting fixture to store the roadster body while the work on the car continues.

A great way to give back to the racing community is volunteering as a technical inspector. Each year the SCTA conducts an inspection clinic for people who have an interest in inspecting land speed cars and motorcycles at el mirage and Bonneville. The clinic will be offering an on-line option for people out of the SoCal area.
