AA Fishing Charter

We turned a 4hr inshore trip into a 2hr offshore trip today. Clark wanted to look for Mahi, and although the bite was nearly non existent, we still found a few big ones that unfortunately broke us off before putting a decent schooly in the box.

Some days are tougher then others, and today was definitely a tough one. With a 2hr fishing window, we were forced to fish shallow and make the best of it.

Andy and his son booked a 6hr offshore trip, with no special requests other then great memories. We mixed things up today, starting with vertical jigging from 50 out to 90'. That didn't produce, so we went into cut and live bait mode. We lost a few to the bottom structure before the mahi started to show up.... on the bottom. We dropped a live grunt in 100' and it got slammed by the first mahi right after reaching the bottom. We started chumming heavy, and were able to bring a few to the surface. One big boy ate our live bait at the surface, and did a deep dive straight to the bottom.

The big ones are out there, just not where we expected them to be.

The top water bite was absolutely horrible today, large in part due to the moon phase we are in. The peanuts are everywhere, and fired up to eat, but the larger mahi are moving slow. We still managed to knock a few bucket list fish off the list for Caleb and his family.

This is where our hearts live. Days where we get to see the pure joy and excitement from young anglers. Not all days on the water produce great catches, or the best weather and ocean conditions. There's been days where our exhaustion seems to make time crawl. Seeing that pure excitement on the face of a child makes any rough day we've had 100% worth our efforts !

This means more to us as a charter than any packed fish box. The smiles and memories made are absolutely priceless !!

Barbara and her son booked an 8hr offshore trip with us. They only wanted catch and release, so we targeted the healthiest species in the ocean. After today, they will see red for years 🤣

4hr inshore trip as we looked at a perfectly flat ocean, wishing we were offshore lol.

The bite has been brutal tough inshore, but our clients still turned a slow bite into a consistent bite with drum, sheepshead, snapper, porgy and margate for dinner.

We turned a short inshore trip into a short offshore trip, and these boys had a blast. We were able to get them a few bucket list fish pretty quick. We lost a few on the bottom, and a nice gaffer that ran under the boat and cut off on the props.
