Just when we think half day trips can't get any better, Dan and his crew land the biggest black grouper we've seen in this area. They topped it off with a dozen muttons and mangroves, a scamp and released a beautiful sailfish. We don't mind burning extra fuel on short trips when the bite is deep. Thanks for booking!

Solid mangrove bite for Chuck and the boys today. We would have doubled the amount if the Goliath grouper left us alone. First time we've had that problem out deep. Days like today hurt. Brad and his son Tucker had perfect conditions and fish were everywhere. We had a school of big mangroves and Cuberas under us the entire day that refused to eat anything we threw at them. Ended up pulling one out of the group and losing a few before they completely shut down. Spawning fish can be difficult. Tomorrow is another day. Thanks for booking!

Current and sargassum made it tough for Capt Taylor to keep baits on the bottom today but luckily the fish were hungry. Nick and his family brought home some good eats while the red snapper kept them busy in between. Lots of pulled hooks, but that's tough to avoid in 5 knot current. Thanks for booking!

Capt Taylor and Capt Steve took their long-time regular out to the mutton grounds and got Tommy his limit of snapper along with a dinner for themselves.
