For years, I felt lost without a purpose😩

I always knew I loved music.
Deep down, I wanted to be a professional singer.

But somewhere along the way, I decided I couldn’t actually be successful and didn’t want to “end up a music teacher.”

I didn’t have the words for it then.

Now I know exactly what that belief
was: the Starving Artist Mindset.

The quiet conviction that creativity and
money don’t mix.

So I felt aimless. For years.

Retail.
Bartending.
Hairstyling.

Music became something I’d pick up and put down, pick up and put down, while a
quiet voice kept asking, “what’s the point?”

I looked for the answer everywhere except inside myself.

In relationships.
In substances.
In distractions.

Anything that might hand me a clear answer or help me forget that I felt so lost.

Years later, I discovered something that changed everything: purpose isn’t a destination you arrive at.
