TRAINER TIP TUESDAY
You hear us say it all the time in class: āEngage your core!ā But what does that actually mean?
Itās not just about āsucking inā your stomach or holding your breath. Core engagement is about creating tension and support through your midsection so your body stays strong, stable, and in the right position as you move.
And sometimes, the smallest adjustment makes the biggest difference.
Watch as we break down the positioning that helps you find that core connection ā and notice how a simple shift can completely change the way an exercise feels.
Next time you hear your FS8 trainer cue āengage your core,ā think:
- Brace through your midsection
- Keep your ribs and pelvis stacked
- Maintain your breath
- Stay strong and supported as you move
Good form isnāt always about making a BIG change. Sometimes itās one small adjustment that helps you get so much more out of the movement.
Save this one for your next class!
