Hillside Golf Course in Sidney invites you to a unique experience to play one of Nebraska’s finest municipal golf courses with a breathtaking view of the beauty, mother nature has provided. As you tee off from the ledge of one of the rugged outcroppings of the scenic bluffs to the plush valley below, you will begin your journey on a fast paced play on a hidden gem that is raved about by visitors and locals throughout the High Plains region. Each hole offers a diversity of challenges, but is wide open through the rolling canyons with few shots that cannot offer recovery opportunities.

🍂 Clocks are turned back, but there’s still time to get a few more rounds in!

November is here, and cooler weather means the golf season is winding down. Grab an extra layer, round up your group, and take advantage of the nice days we have left! ⛳

🕙 The course opens at 10 a.m.

🌡️ Carts are available when temperatures are above 50°F.

📞 Call the pro shop to book your tee time—November tee times must be booked by phone.

A little cooler weather, a few extra layers, and hopefully a few more birdies before the season ends!

For immediate release:

The course will be closed the next four days for aeration. Will also be closed because of High School XC meet on Wednesday afternoon.

We know aeration can temporarily affect playing conditions, but it is one of the most important practices we use to keep our turf healthy, firm, and smooth long-term. Aeration relieves compaction, improves air and water movement, supports stronger roots, and helps maintain better playing conditions over the season.

We appreciate everyone’s patience as we take care of the course.

We will open back up for regular play on Friday

Oktoberfest tourney day on the Hill! Tomorrow will be the last to golf before aerated greens. Make sure to book your tee time and enjoy the nice weather!

We are asking that teams make one payment instead of 4 individual payments. A lot of golfers to check in and trying to get everyone checked in as quick as possible so that we can start on time. Thanks!

With the sun starting to set earlier, there is no better excuse to get an afternoon round in.
