Known for his larger-than-life presence perceptible well beyond the many DJ booths he occupied for over 20 years in Spokane, beloved local DJ Fred “Freaky Fred” Mhidze died earlier this month. He was 44.

It is with extreme sadness and disbelief that we announce the passing of our friend and colleague DJ Freaky Fred. Fred was our resident DJ since 2017 and entertained thousands on our adult night events . He was a friend to anyone who met him. The world lost a great Dj but even a better person. Rest in peace our friend. We will miss you terribly. 🎶❤️🛼 Fredrick Mhidze
