Jaxon graduated from Jonesville HS and then went on to KVCC as a student athlete. Since then, Jaxon has been the assistant coach at Jonesville as well as running skill training.

MHSAA D-4 State Semifinals
at Breslin Center
Concord 50, Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian 40 (OT): It looked like Concord was going to cruise in the MHSAA Division 4 state semifinal at the Breslin Center Thursday. They were up by 16 points heading into the third quarter. But Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian has been here before and tied the score on a 3-point basket at the buzzer. That is when Connor and Zack Stevens – brothers – took over. The duo scored the first seven points for Concord in overtime as they pulled out the win. “In the past we would have been screaming at one another (on the bench),” Connor Stevens said. “With experience we know to keep our poise.” Connor scored 16 points and pulled down nine rebounds, his brother Zack scored nine points and pulled down eight rebounds. Jett Smith added 13 points and Darrell Dean added eight points with three assists for Concord. The Yellow Jackets face Detroit Douglass in the D-4 state final at the Breslin Center Saturday at 10 a.m.
