Everyone needs to be paying attention to the weather over the next couple of days.
A tropical depression is heading toward the upper Texas coast, and will bring heavy rainfall into the region on Tuesday and potentially Tuesday night. We have put a Stage 2 flood alert into place for areas along and east of Interstate 45, and Stage 1 to the west.

Pretty decent chance we get some of the tropical system moving our way either with rain or possible heavier winds. As a reminder for yard debris, especially limbs that may come down, make sure limbs are cut and bundled for trash pick up. Best Trash will pick up bundled limbs and bagged yard debris with normal service.

Adult Swim is also available for those members 18 and older on Tuesdays - Fridays from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Adult swim may go longer depending on weather, but we will announce end of Adult Swim in October at some point.

In preparation for the pool and Rec Building construction project, we will begin site prep for the new electrical service panel install and new conduit for tennis and parking lot light power lines. We will have five trees removed on Thursday, Sept. 4 and Friday, Sept. 5 during the day from the starred location on the map above. They will transport debris to the lower tennis court parking lot for removal. Parking spots around the lower tennis entrance will be blocked so the vendor has plenty of room for trucks, trailers, and equipment. There will still be parking and gate access from the lower tennis parking lot, but please be alert for the crew working in the area.
For every tree we have to remove for this construction project, we will add two new trees in the park starting in the fall.

We are about halfway through the season and it is officially time for our lifeguards to start audits!
Please do not be alarmed if our lifeguards get off stand to perform a water rescue unless told by other staff that it is not a training scenario and to clear the pool.
We can’t wait to show off our skills!
