All good things must come to an end, and at the end of this week, my time here in Champaign/Springfield will be coming to an end

After nearly 2 years here, it is time for me to take the next step in my journey and I am excited about what my future has to offer

I am truly grateful for my time here.
When I came to Champaign in 2022, I had no idea about the area, the community, and what the sports landscape had to offer.

It took me time to truly learn the history and the background of the high schools and colleges in the market.

They don't tell you in college how difficult it is to move nearly 900 miles away from your family and friends, but this community and my co-workers welcomed me in with open arms. I am grateful for the families and friends, I have built relationships with along the way. It has made my time here, much easier

To the other media members in the Champaign/Springfield market. Thank you for welcoming me in and helping me along the way.

A special shoutout to Alessandra Pontbriand TV who welcomed me into the sports department with open arms, and showed me the ropes and what I needed to know to be successful.

Don't worry, I leave the department in good hands. It has been a pleasure working alongside Sammy St. Jean these past 4 months. I have no doubt he will continue to do great things for this community

Don't be afraid to reach out, I will never turn down the opportunity to talk about sports!
