🔥 WELL… WE DIDN’T EXPECT THIS. 🔥

The new Wh***ey City Lighted Nocks have officially been available for about 24 hours, and to say we’ve been taken aback by the response would be an understatement.

These things are FLYING off the shelf.

A pile of them are already headed all over the country, and with hunting seasons opening up, we know it won’t be long before some of these nocks are glowing behind an arrow headed exactly where it needs to go.

Well, the cat’s officially outta the bag!
The Wh***ey City Trad Gear line of Lighted Nocks will be available at wctrad.com this Monday!

This one didn’t happen overnight. There are plenty of lighted nocks on the market, and we weren’t interested in simply putting our name on another one. We started with a proven concept and worked to make a few small but meaningful changes where we thought they mattered.

The string throat is closest in feel and profile to a Gold Tip GT-style nock, giving traditional archers a familiar fit and feel.
Internally, we made changes to accommodate a larger lithium power cell, giving us the power and runtime we were looking for along with a bright, highly visible LED. We also recessed the on/off switch deeper into the nock body to help protect against accidental activation while keeping it simple to turn off by hand.
Will you see other lighted nocks out there that look similar? Absolutely. But sometimes the difference is in the little things you can't see.

Are we going to tell you ours is the greatest lighted nock ever made? Nope. That's not how we do things. We'd rather put it in your hands, let you shoot it, and let you decide.

That's what we're trying to do with everything at Wh***ey City Trad Gear—keep it simple, make thoughtful improvements where we can, and give traditional archers a lot of bang for their buck at a reasonable price.

Refinement, not invention.

I’m loading up a series of Shorts on the YouTubes featuring one of the men who had a huge influence on me as a hunter and traditional archer—Abe Hall.

Abe took me under his wing when I was young, and I’ve been learning from him ever since. He’s a lifelong traditional bowhunter with decades of experience and numerous record-book whitetails and big-game animals to his credit. He’s hunted and guided out West, chased game up North, hunted the hardwoods here at home, and accumulated the kind of woods knowledge you simply can’t learn from a book or a video.

What I’ve always respected most about Abe isn’t just the animals he’s taken—it’s how much he understands the land, wildlife, habitat, and the little details that consistently put a hunter in the right place.

All these years later, Abe and I still hunt together. The funny thing is, the relationship really hasn’t changed much. I’m still listening, he’s still teaching, and I’m still picking up something new every time we hit the woods.

These Shorts are a chance to share some of that knowledge with you. No gimmicks, no shortcuts—just a lifetime of experience from an old-school traditional bowhunter who has actually lived it.
