We’re happy to invite you to our Natural Dye Class for Adults on September 24th! 🌷✨ Join educator Katelyn for a fun and hands-on class where you’ll learn how to make beautiful dyes from plants. Everyone will get a chance to create their own handmade, naturally dyed bandana to take home. The class will be held at the Spindler Shelter in Suson Park.

We're excited to let you know that our Learn to Skate Placement Test Day is happening on October 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. ⛸ If you're thinking about signing up for skate lessons but aren't quite sure which skill level is right for you, this is a perfect opportunity to get some helpful guidance—and have a bit of fun along the way.

And the best part? It's completely free! Plus, if you don't have your own skates, no worries — you can use our rental skates at no cost.

We're excited to let you know that the ice rink will be opening next week—yay! That means it's time to kick off our Homeschool Skates again this year, now twice a month.

We'd love for you to join us! Come skate with us on Friday, September 25th from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. It's a fun way to enjoy some time on the ice and connect with other homeschooling families. The price is just $6 per person, and that covers skate rentals.

Rink season is just around the corner! ⛸ Starting in October, we're excited to offer Learn to Skate lessons for skaters of all ages and levels, from kids as young as 3.5 to teens up to 18. And guess what? We're also thrilled to share that this year, we’re now offering skating lessons for adults 18 and older too!

We are excited to welcome Tippi Toes back to Kennedy Rec Complex for the 2026-27 dance season! 🩰✨

Tippi Toes offers fun, age-appropriate dance classes for both boys and girls ages 18 months–12 years. Their mission is to develop a love of dance while building confidence, coordination, creativity, and friendships in a positive, encouraging environment.

Classes begin this week on Wednesday, September 9th, and registration is open!
Wednesday Class Schedule:
5:00–5:30 PM: Tiny Toes (18 months–3 years)
5:45–6:30 PM: Ballet, Tap & Jazz Younger (4–5 years)
6:45–7:30 PM: Tippi Pro (6–12 years)

We’re excited to let you know that our Puzzle Competitions will continue at the Affton Community Center this fall and winter! 🧩

We're kicking things off on September 25th from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Teams of 2, 3, or 4 are all welcome to join, and there’s a trophy for the winning team in every division! If you're 10 or older, we'd love for you to be part of the fun.
