🤯 Wait… did everyone know this except me?!

Just learned this Instagram trick and HAD to share because it’s way too useful to keep to myself.

Save this for later — and tell me: did you already know this?! 👇

Why YogaSix? 💙💚

For Pallavi, it comes down to something simple: yoga is for everyone.

Every body. Every level. Every age. Whether you’re stepping onto a mat for the very first time or yoga has been part of your life for years, there’s a place for you here.

But YogaSix is about more than the practice. It’s about the community we’re building together—the familiar faces, the friendships, the encouragement, and that feeling of walking through the doors and knowing you belong.

Come for the yoga.
Stay for the community.
This is your home. 🏡💙

🔥 Y6 SIGNATURE HOT: What to Expect

Curious about Y6 Signature Hot but not sure what you’re walking into?

Y6 Signature Hot is a heated, set-sequence yoga class—which means you’ll move through a consistent series of postures designed to work the entire body. Because the sequence stays familiar, you can spend less time wondering “What’s coming next?” and more time focusing on your breath, alignment, and how your body feels.

THE CLASS STRUCTURE 🧘‍♀️

🔥 Warm Up
Ease into the heat, connect with your breath, and prepare your muscles and joints for movement.

🔥 Standing Sequence
Move through standing poses that challenge strength, balance, stability, and focus while building heat throughout the body.

🔥 Balance Work
Slow things down and challenge your concentration, coordination, and body awareness.

🔥 Floor Series
Transition to the mat for postures that target mobility, flexibility, core strength, and deeper stretches.

🔥 Cool Down + Savasana
Allow your heart rate and nervous system to settle as you finish with restorative movement and stillness.

WHY IT WORKS FOR BEGINNERS ✨

Because the sequence is consistent, you get the opportunity to learn the poses through repetition. You can modify, take breaks, and work at your own pace. Each class gives you another chance to become more comfortable with the movements—and the heat!

WHY EXPERIENCED YOGIS LOVE IT 🔥

Familiar doesn’t mean easy. As your practice develops, the same postures give you opportunities to refine your alignment, balance, strength, breath control, and focus. Instead of constantly chasing a more complicated pose, you can notice the smaller changes in your body and practice.

The sequence may be the same—but you’re never exactly the same person stepping onto your mat.

Whether it’s your first hot class or your 100th, there’s always somewhere to grow. 🔥🧘

Yoga can be transformative in ways we don’t always see. 🧠✨

Every time we slow down, connect movement with breath, or settle into stillness, we’re giving the nervous system a chance to shift out of fight-or-flight and toward rest, recovery, and regulation.

Over time, a consistent yoga practice may help us become more aware of our stress responses—and better able to return to a state of calm.

The goal isn’t to never feel stressed.
It’s to build the capacity to move through stress without getting stuck there.

That’s the power of the practice. 💙

Am I making progress? 🤔

Honestly… probably not much yet. 😅

I’ve been traveling, my routine has been all over the place, and I definitely haven’t stretched every single day like I planned.

But here’s what I’m realizing: progress doesn’t start with perfection. It starts with awareness — and then choosing to keep showing up.

I may miss a morning here and there. I may fall out of the routine. But every time I come back to it, I’m building the habit a little more.

And eventually, the goal is for stretching to become something I don’t even have to think about — just part of my day, like brushing my teeth or taking my vitamins. 🧘‍♀️

And really… isn’t that what yoga is all about?

✨ It’s a journey, not a finish line.
✨ It’s trying something you’re not good at… yet.
✨ It’s falling off track and choosing to come back.
✨ It’s giving yourself grace when you mess up.
✨ And it’s trusting that if you keep practicing, progress will come.

So maybe the progress isn’t in my splits just yet…

Maybe the progress is that I’m still trying. ❤️

Can you relate?

❤️ Have you ever started something you weren’t good at?
❤️ Fallen off track and gotten back on?
❤️ Had to remind yourself to trust the process?
❤️ Forgiven yourself for not being perfect — and kept going anyway?

Like this post if you’re a work in progress too. 🙋‍♀️

What is Ariel’s favorite class to teach at Y6?

POWER! 💪

A YogaSix Y6 Power Flow class is essentially the more athletic, strength- and endurance-focused version of a vinyasa practice.

What makes Power different?

Rather than holding mostly passive stretches, Power repeatedly moves you through weight-bearing positions—think Plank, Chaturanga, Downward Dog, Warriors, lunges, balancing poses and core work. Your own body weight becomes the resistance, while the continuous flow adds a cardiovascular/endurance component.

So you’re combining strength + mobility + balance + cardiovascular demand + breath control in the same workout! No wonder she loves teaching this class!

Comment below if you love a Power class too!
