Main Game #1 (17 Players)
• 1st Place (Chop): Stephen Appel SI took a share of the top spot, securing 153 points.
• 2nd Place (Chop): Anthony Kesaris chopped the win, also taking 153 points.
• 3rd Place: Michael "Oh Sh" Tarulli locked up the podium in 3rd with 119 points.
Main Game #2 (18 Players)
• 1st Place (Chop): Jeremy Kay claimed a share of the victory, earning 162 points.
• 2nd Place (Chop): Dan Labarbera chopped the top spot, also securing 162 points.
• 3rd Place: Stephen Appel SI found the podium once again, locking down 3rd place for 126 points.
Consolation Game
• 1st Place (Chop): Emily Zima (75 pts)
• 2nd Place (Chop): Jeremy Kay (75 pts)
• 3rd Place: Shari Suchecki (25 pts)
Nightly Points Leader
With a chopped victory in Game 1 and a strong 3rd-place podium run in Game 2, Stephen Appel SI dominated the field to claim the overall nightly points lead with 279 points!

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our No Limit Pub Poker family member, Anthony Marini.

Anthony was a familiar face at our Staten Island games, especially at Ralph’s Sports Bar and District Sports Bar. He brought laughter wherever he went and had a way of making everyone smile. Even while courageously battling cancer, Anthony never lost his sense of humor. Those who knew him will remember him as someone who was truly the life of the party.

Our hearts go out to Peter, the entire Marini family, and all of Anthony’s friends during this difficult time. We are grateful for everyone who reached out with calls, texts, prayers, and support throughout his journey.

Anthony is now at peace free from pain and reunited with our Lord. Though he will be deeply missed, his laughter, kindness, and the memories he created around our poker tables will live on in all of us.

Tonight’s Poker Update

No Limit Staten Island Poker League – Week 13 Tuesday Recap
The action continued for Week 13 on Tuesday night, July 14th, 2026, as the league rolled into Mimmo's Pizzeria! It was a packed house with massive player fields, resulting in highly competitive tables. Here is how the night played out:
Main Game #1 (17 Players)
A fantastic turnout of 17 players created a deep field for the first game of the night.
• 1st Place: Lauris ""SIDEWINDER"" Murnieks claimed the top spot on the board, taking home 170 points. After a deal at the end, Lauris took the first-place points while splitting the venue gift cards.
• 2nd Place: Peter Zima put on an excellent run to secure runner-up honors and 136 points.
• 3rd Place: Z***r Brown rounded out the top three, securing a crucial 119 points.
Main Game #2 (19 Players)
The action surged even higher for Game 2, bringing an incredible 19 players to the felt. Two players battled their way to an exact tie at the very top:
• 1st Place (Tie): Alana "Shots?" Miller put on a stellar performance to share the top spot, banking 171 points.
• 1st Place (Tie): Jeremy Kay matched her run step-for-step, also securing 171 points.
• 3rd Place: Barbara "Babs" Kesaris grabbed a podium finish, taking home 133 points.
Consolation Game
• 1st Place: Barbara "Babs" Kesaris secured 1st place points (100 pts) while Emily Zima took home the venue gift card.
• 2nd Place: Emily Zima (50 pts)

What a massive Monday night of poker for Week 13 at Fava on July 13th, 2026! The tables were heating up with some incredible performances, critical leaderboard movements, and big-time plays. Here is how all the action unfolded:
Main Game #1 (11 Players)
The first game of the night brought an 11-player field to the felt, but it completely belonged to one person.
• 1st Place: Santa Bellino put on a masterclass, securing a dominant solo win for 110 points. To make the victory even sweeter, Santa held onto the bounty all the way to the very end, banking an extra 100 points for a massive total haul.
• 2nd Place: Ben "I would have won!" Lamorte put up a great fight to take runner-up honors for 88 points.
• 3rd Place: Barbara Prindle SI rounded out the top three, grabbing 77 points.
Main Game #2 (10 Players)
The second game featured a tight 10-player battle.
• 1st Place: Tom Sherman took down the first-place points, banking 100 points for his league total.
• 2nd Place: Evelyn Brome SI played brilliantly to secure 2nd place and 80 points, also walking away with the venue gift card.
• 3rd Place: Kevin "Shadey" Jones SI standardly found his way back onto the podium, taking 3rd for 70 points.
