Due to heavy overnight rain and severely saturated conditions, the golf course and practice facilities will be closed today, Friday June 19th, to protect the turf. We appreciate your understanding and support!

Friday Update: Aerification is complete with cleanup day today, Friday June 5th. Facilities will open tomorrow with regular business hours. Thank you to our staff for finishing up late last night so you can enjoy the course this weekend!

Our Turf Team are on day three of aerification. Thankfully, weather is cooperating after a wet and delayed start. Here are some pictures of a few of the multiple processes involved: Greens, tees, fairways and approaches are all at different stages at this point.

Monday, June 1st begins our annual Aerification Week. The Golf Course, Driving Range and Clubhouse will be closed all week and reopen Saturday, June 6th weather permitting.

Turf Team will aerify greens, tees, fairways and approaches.

Cart Path will be added to hole #11 this week also by an outside contractor.

Parking Lot sealcoat and striping will occur this week as well leaving no access to the clubhouse and parking lot for vehicles or pedestrian traffic.

The GSU Golf Course will be closed tomorrow, May 18th, for maintenance. We will reopen on Tuesday, May 19th. The range will be open from 10-sunset so make sure to still come visit us! ⛳️

Great weekend for golf! We will be closed Monday, April 13 for Maintenance Monday. The course will be closed on Monday, but the driving range will be open from 10:00am to sundown.

Bulloch County Middle School Championship was held at today at GS Golf Course. Thank you to Kiwanis Club of Statesboro for their continued support of Bulloch County School Golf!

The student golfers also enjoyed beverages sponsored by Coca Cola. Players, coaches, parents and siblings were invited to a complimentary cookout held after play. Click pictures to see who won!
