Our boys loaded up yesterday morning for the trip to Vegas and just arrived safely at South Point! Casey was the only one that could leave early so the kids and I will join later! We are sure thankful for TwoBulls Feed for our new stickers and all our great supplements. I packed enough Two Bulls mineral, boviade, dialed in, pro breeder mineral, and Anevis (if needed) for 9 head! The boys handled the trip well and look like they did when they left home. We are ready for the big lights!

We’re all about strong female lines at the RSR and these three own daughters of the great 523 Party Girl are exactly the kind we are looking for. Product of our IVF program with Danny Keller. Diamond Thomison Casey Thomison

Rockin’ KL Bucking Genetics as well as ourselves have decided to offer 939 Bushlight Bubba in the ABBI Premier Sale November 3rd. This bull is solid and ready to hit the road. We think he would make a great PBR, PBR team, or PRCA bull. He can be bucked out of either delivery. He’s right in the latch either way. He has been hauled all over since he was a yearling competing and is a veteran on the road. Not only does he buck but he also has the genetics to sire buckers. Don’t let this one slip by, he’s ready to go on and continue adding to his resume.

Today 4 of our boys we are pretty proud of made a trip to Stillwater to get collected. We are always excited for the next generation on the RSR. We are hoping to breed for more buckers in the future out of this set!

356 Solo Eclipse
966 Llama Drama
939 Bushlight Bubba
803 Cricket on Crank

Fun fact about this set of 4.
All of them were created from IVF flush.
We take pride in our reproduction programs and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We wrapped up our 2026 ABBI regular season event yesterday. It wasn’t our best day but we accomplished what we set out to do. Now to give the boys a break and have them feeling their best rolling into Vegas. Thank you to all our partners for trusting us. It’s been a fun year. Now the focus shifts to the maiden prospects to get them ready for the big lights!

It was a great day at the Carsen Perry Memorial event for Rising Stars Ranch and partners. The Cowgirl’s class was tough and Candy Man didn’t pull a check but Arena pulled the trigger on all the youth calves while Spur was playing soccer and went 3 for 3 placing with every calf. What a blessed day it was at an awesome event remembering an amazing Cowboy!

Rockin’ P Derby in Tahlequah is in the books. It was a great night close to home to showcase our derby bulls. 3 out of 4 it was their derby debut and two out of the 4 was their first rider trips and their first times bucked since Vegas in November. They weren’t all perfect and clean but we couldn’t be more proud. We can always pick the positives. Bushlight Bubba took the top spot of the set with an 88.4 to split 6-7th in the 36 head derby. Lightnin’ McQueen was .5 point from placing. Llama Drama and Solo Eclipse neither had clean starts but both showed they have the tools to be contenders. We don’t keep many rider bulls and this set has sure been special to us. It’s also cool to mention 3 out of the 4 are embryo calves.

As always thank you to our partners that help keep these boys on the road.

803 Cricket on Crank approved of all his son’s trips this morning. We sure are excited for this trio and of course excited to have Cricket back on the cows in 2027. #28-N #321

Everyone always asked when we will be close to home. This Saturday night is it! August 15th 7:30 P.M. at the new Rockin P Arena in Tahlequah. They have a great BBQ restaurant, covered seating, and a really cool set up. This is a derby and classic event so all rider bulls. I am excited for our line up. It includes:

356 Solo Eclipse - I think I talk about him you know exactly who he is. I ran him through the bucking chutes tonight and he is feeling good and ready to roll.

966 Llama Drama - his name says it all. He has been growing all summer and ready to put his size with all the action he has already showed us.

939 Bushlight Bubba - he has already acquired over $5k in derby earnings this year. He has been entered twice and place both outs. He’s just coming off of clean up crew from the cow pasture.

25L Lightnin’ McQueen - Arena’s 2025 youth calf has been spending all summer growing up. He has some size on him now and we are expecting him to be as electric with a rider as he was with a box.
