🚨 Meet Season PSA for Parents 🚨
In the coming weeks, you may notice something strange...
You know every beat, every pause, and every dramatic pose cue of our team’s floor music.
You may hear it in the car. You may hear it while making dinner. You may hear it in your dreams.
Please know this is not a sophisticated form of parent torture. 😅
The reason our athletes repeat their floor routines over and over is simple: confidence. Repetition helps athletes memorize every movement, sharpen timing, and perform under pressure when it counts most.
By the time meet season arrives, we want their routine to feel so familiar that they can focus on performing, not remembering what comes next.
And while the music might be playing for the 487th time, the athlete still loves hearing something from their fans. 👏
A clap, a cheer, or a "You've got this!" from the stands can make a huge difference in building confidence and helping athletes feel supported out on the floor.
So when that song starts again, take a deep breath, smile, and remember:
Your gymnast hears one more chance to improve. You hear... the unofficial soundtrack of meet season. 🎵😂
