Good Afternoon,

We want to thank everyone for coming out to Copper Canyon Golf Club today. It was extremely hot and there was some tremendous golf played. Congratulations to our Tournament Low Gross winner Matt Fiedler shooting a -1 par 71 after bogeying the first three holes. Also a congratulations to our Tournament Low Net winner Lindsey Dion who shot a -5 par 67.

Our Shot of the Day goes to Dave Shirley who put it 3 inches from the cup, and there was photo evidence, on number 16 (Vista #7). This would have won Dave $2,730. Great shot.

Good Evening Everyone,

Wanted to thank all players that played today at We-Ko-Pa. The courses here are award-winning golf courses set in the untouched Sonoran Desert just outside Scottsdale, Arizona, We-Ko-Pa Golf Club is truly Arizona’s Ultimate Golf Experience. We played the Scott Miller designed Cholla course, which is among the very best in the southwestern United States, as judged by both golf media and players alike.
The course was in excellent shape with the greens running true.

I couldn't choose between a couple of shots of the day so I decided to call out the following. First, Dennis LLer had some tremendous pars from deep in the desert. Second, was Mark Fortin who missed a number of events and came back strong with two great birdies which helped him win the Tournament Chicago.

Thank you to everyone for making the trek out to Los Caballeros Golf Club today. The course was in very good shape minus the wet spots and there was some very good golf. Congratulations goes out to our tournament winners, Tournament Low Gross Winner Matt Fiedler shooting a 1 over par 74 and Tournament Low Net Winner Jeff Phillips shooting a -1 Par 72. I couldn’t choose between a couple of shots of the day so I decided to reward both shots. First, Kyle Addington had two tremendous 3 wood shots of roughly 250 yards one on the 17th hole that led to an Eagle 3 and the other on 18 that led to a Birdie. Yes back to back holes with great shots. Second, was Mike Phillips who was able to get deuces on a couple of par 3’s that ended up being net 1’s. Tremendous job gentlemen making it very difficult to choose just one shot of the day, so we ended up with four.

Thanks to everyone who attended the Verrado (Founders) tournament yesterday. We had some tough conditions out there today. Congratulations goes out to our winners, today overall winner Shaun Guay who shot a tournament Gross 3 over par 75 and our Net winner Eddie Mylan who shot a 1 over par 73 net score. Our Shot Of The Day goes out to Johnny Gutierrez and Perry Valencia who decided that golf wasn't for them today, so they turned to drinking and had more drink shots than pars. Congratulations goes to McKay Colton the overall winner of today's tournament after shooting a gross score of 79. Our net winner was Lindsey Dion who shot a 67 (-5). The Shot of the Day goes to new member Steve Dubois with his magnificent shot on the long par 3 #17 which was playing over 200 yards. Steve hit it stiff to 6 feet.

Our annual two day Club Championship wrapped up yesterday out at the fabulous Westbrook Lakes course. We would like to thank everyone for attending the 2026 Club Championship. Our "Shot of the Day" goes too Duane Schuman, however it is probably the NON-shot of the day. Coming to the 208 yard par 3 7th hole he calmly walks up to the tee box and before teeing it up promptly asks the rest of his group where the Drop Zone was. Thus talking himself into hitting the ball into the water and allowing him to play from the afore mentioned Drop Zone. Thanks Duane for providing the group with a little humor.
