Even though the Junior Slingshots are off tonight at Spirit Auto Center Speedway, Danica is stepping up for an unforgettable All Star debut in her Slingshot! ⭐🏎️

Pierce will enjoy a well-earned night off to relax and hang out with his friends.

This is a huge moment for Danica as she takes on the All Stars for the very first time building experience, confidence, and speed as she continues preparing for future competition this winter and beyond. We can’t wait to watch her rise to the challenge against some tough talent and make the most of every lap! Thank you to our amazing friends for this opportunity!

It’s race day for Family Ties Racing at the Garden State Quarter Midget Racing Club! 💙❤️🏁

Today’s lineup:
🏎️ Hunter will be wheeling both his Senior Honda and Senior Animal.
🏎️ Pierce will be behind the wheel of his Heavy Honda.

While the boys are on the track:
💻 Danica is volunteering her time in the tower to help the club keep the show running smoothly.
💙 Nixon will be cheering everyone on from home, watching the live feed as he continues recovering from surgery last week. We hope to have him back at the track soon!

If you’re looking for something fun to do today, come on out to Wall Stadium and check out the action!

Admission is FREE, there are plenty of exciting races, and it’s always a great family atmosphere.

🏁 Race Day Recap 🏁

It’s always a great night when BOTH drivers make the redraw! 🙌🔥

Heat Race Results:
Danica started 2nd and finished 3rd 🏁
Pierce started 8th and charged all the way to 4th!!

Danica was on fire and had a great start pulling into the lead early on. She stayed as the race leader until a caution came out with just 2 laps to go. For some reason still unknown, the field restarted double file instead of single file. On the restart, she got shuffled back but regrouped well and held on for a solid P3 finish 💪

In the redraw, Danica pulled a 5 and Pierce got the last spot which happened to be a 6, setting them up side-by-side for the feature, Danica P5 inside and Pierce P6 outside in the 16 car feature 👊

When the green flag dropped, both kids took off Danica gained spots early and Pierce stayed right with her. A quick caution in Turn 2 reset the field back to original starting positions.

The second start wasn’t as strong, and by lap 10 Danica was 9th and Pierce 11th. Another caution brought the field back together.

From there… it was go time 🔥

On the restart, both drivers started moving forward. As the white flag flew, Danica was up to 6th and Pierce was 8th.

Heading into Turn 2, the 4th and 5th place cars got together and one was pushed high. Danica didn’t hesitate and she went low, made the pass for 5th, and fought hard through Turns 3 and 4 to hold on by inches for a P5 photo finish 📸

Pierce brought it home in P8 after a strong charge through the field 💪

It’s been a few weeks since the cars felt truly dialed in, and tonight the kids made the most of it. Seeing Danica back in the Top 5 with Pierce right behind her was exactly the boost they needed 🙌

We may not have taken home the win, but tonight felt like a win for this whole team ❤️🏁 The hard work is paying off, and we’re just getting started.

🏎️ Hunter will be chasing the checkered flag in both his Senior Animal and Senior Honda.
