Our first race of the season!! It didn’t go as well as we had hoped — a little bit of heartbreak but a whole lot of fun for Evan & Lola.

Heat - P2 to 2nd
Feature - P4 to 7th
a spin towards the end of the race put Lola in the rear & she couldn’t pass to gain her spot back. For her second ever dirt junior honda race, she did awesome!

The formula was bad fast, but our driver needs a bit more practice to learn the car a little better - it’ll take some time but he truly enjoys racing this class with the more experienced drivers! He loves the challenge.
Light 160 was a total heartbreaker. Evan ran 2nd most of the heat, but at the very last minute was passed by two amazing drivers and came in 4th. This put him P1 in the B, where he crossed the finish line in 2nd! He was supposed to start P8 in the feature, but at the start his chain popped & unfortunately we were not able to get it back on in time due to another issue and they started the race without him. A huge thank you to all of the moms & dads who helped & tried to get him back out there in time!! 🫶🏼

Next up | 4.26 at our home track Honey Brook Speedway! ✨

Our season officially starts TOMORROW!!!
It’s like Christmas Eve over here in the Smith household🤣 We hope to see you all tomorrow!
Evan will be racing Light 160 & Light World Formula tomorrow and Lola will be racing Junior Honda!🤞🏼

Eden decided she wanted to get back in to racing this season, so she’s doing a little refresher rookie school at Honey Brook Speedway! 🏁 We can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes this season!
