Tonight, Synergy Hoops is fitting in a practice session before 15u departs for Long Island to compete in The Prep Girls Hoops Northeast Regional Finals. Given the day's pleasant weather, an outdoor practice seemed like an ideal choice.

We are pleased to acknowledge the outstanding academic performance of our athletes, who prioritize academic excellence for its long-term benefits. Many of our athletes have achieved Honor Roll or High Honor Roll status with GPAs between 3.5 and 3.8, or averages of 90% to 95% or higher. Several of our athletes have been recognized with induction into esteemed honor societies. These are true student athletes. We commend their academic achievements and ability to balance multiple responsibilities, essential qualities for future leaders. We are so proud of these young women and their academic achievements. We are confident in their future success. Congratulations ladies, on your outstanding work. Your futures are extremely bright.

Thank you to Josh Dunsmoor and his company Eclipse Environmental Services LLC for sponsoring an extra tournament this past weekend. The 14u team was able to participate in the All or Nothing Tournament in Corning, New York. This tournament was marked by impressive displays of resilience and tenacity by our 14u team while playing against 7th through 10th graders. The team went 1-2 but their superior ball movement and defense were notable strengths. The team's visit to the Corning Museum of Glass served as a bonding experience, enhancing their team chemistry.

Over the past weekend, the Synergy Hoops 15u team took part in the All or Nothing Sunday Tournament in Corning, NY, facing strong competition and finishing with a 2-1 record while having fun and showcasing outstanding sportsmanship.

The Synergy Hoops 15u team participated in The Takeover Tournament held in District Heights, Maryland, where they faced strong opponents from the DC Metropolitan Area. The team's perseverance and teamwork ultimately led to a winning result and we are so proud of them! Their dedication, sportsmanship, and commitment to achieving their goals are worthy of recognition. Furthermore, the tournament allowed the team to bond and have a pleasant experience at the Washington National Harbor.

This past weekend, the 14U team took part in the Queen of the Thrown Tournament in Macedon, New York, and concluded the event with a 2-2 record while demonstrating exceptional teamwork and dedication in the championship. Congratulations to Lily Maratea for scoring a career high 14pts in a single game this past weekend! 👏

Our 14u girls fought hard and played with integrity and class today at The Rome Select Let It Rain Tournament and we couldn’t be more proud of them!

We are reminded that life is not about being perfect, it’s about learning, growing and becoming better with every experience you go through.

We are delighted to announce the 2026 Synergy Hoops Summer Girls Basketball Camp, designed for girls ages 8-16 who aspire to enhance their basketball skills, develop teamwork, and enjoy competitive gameplay while staying active. The camp will be divided into age-specific groups. Camp will be hosted by Courtney King- Owner of Synergy Hoops, former varsity girls basketball coach and current aau coach and Nora Best , Synergy Hoops AAU coach.
➡️Who: Girls ages 8-16
➡️Where: The Legacy Gym, 214 Kinne St East Syracuse, NY 13057
➡️When: July 13th-16th, 9am-2pm
➡️Cost: $200 per camper, with a sibling discount available for two or more campers
➡️Events: 3-point, Mikan, relays and foul shot competitions, 3v3 WNBA tournament, TikTok Challenge, and more
⭐️At Camp there will be a food drive to benefit the East Syracuse and Minoa food pantry. Each food item you donate will enter you into a drawling to win a spectacular prize. Drawling’s will occur once daily
⭐️Prizes and awards will be presented
⭐️Campers are required to bring water daily and their own lunch, except for Thursday when pizza will be provided

This week at practice, the girls created clips showcasing good sportsmanship and promoting a positive message for the upcoming tournaments. The 14u team will participate in the Rome Select Make It Rain Tournament in Whitesboro, NY, this weekend, while the 15u team will compete in the Prep Girls Hoops The Takeover Tournament in District Heights, MD, in a few weeks.
