Even though Outlaw had a few wrestlers qualify to wrestle at the USA Wrestling Freestyle and Greco-Roman Nationals tournament in Fargo, North Dakota in July, due to unforeseen circumstances and injuries, only 1 of our wrestlers is able to go. But she still needs your help to make it. Please consider donating to Lacey’s dream of wrestling at U16 Women’s Freestyle Wrestling Nationals.
Lacey is one of our original Outlaws and has been a member of our community for a while now. This year as a freshmen in high school she was 1 match off the podium at state, finished 1st place at NW Regionals in Greco, and finished 4th in Freestyle, qualifying her for Nationals. She is a hard worker and a really good kid. If you can support her, please do.

Outlaws on the Mat



On a weekend where many people were traveling or busy with Spring Break activities, some Outlaws were traveling near and far, dedicated to competing. Outlaw wrestlers competed in Kent, WA at the Takedown Express Tournament, as well as Lady Outlaws rode over the mountains to Spokane, WA, to compete at the 2026 USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships.

Takedown Express:

Coach Antonio and Coach James report that Outlaw wrestlers wrestled hard, and for the most part wrestled well. With Standout performances and placements from Zacceus Brown (3rd place in Junior’s Greco), JJ Tudela (3rd place in both U16 Freestyle and Greco), Jordan Kaneko (2nd place in the boy’s division U12 Freestyle), Bryson Casilla (2nd place in both U16 Greco and Freestyle), and Jacob Ringlbauer (2nd place in U16 Freestyle, and 1st in Junior Freestyle and U16 Greco). Great job in Kent Outlaws.

Women’s National Championships:

4 brave young Lady Outlaws took Coach Jeff along with them to Spokane, WA, to compete at the USA Wrestling Women’s National Championships. When we say young, we mean young, as all 4 were 10U and below; one in the 8U division. What a weekend of wrestling. Over the 2 days of competing all 4 young ladies (Dru Dunigan, Jordan Dunigan, Leimomi Kalilikane, and Kira Givani) competed in their age division’s Freestyle competition, and 2 took on the extra challenge of also competing in Greco; Jordan and Kira. “It was awesome seeing all 4 girls supporting each other, cheering mat-side, spending the off time hanging out and bonding, meeting the 7x Gold Jordan Burroughs, and best of all competing their to the best of their abilities” says Coach Jeff. Coach Jeff is happy to report that all 4 placed in Freestyle with Kira taking 6th, Dru taking 5th, Leimomi finishing 2nd, and Jordan taking home the belt and title of National Champion. Coach Jeff continued “Outside of Jordan, none of the other 3 finished where they wanted to but stayed composed and competitive for the most part. They all were demonstrating the techniques we’ve been working on in the wrestling room and never gave up.”

When Jordan and Kira took the mat day 2 to compete in Greco, it was more of the same. Complete effort, working technique, and determination. Kira again took 6th, and again, Jordan took home the Big Gold Medal and title of National Champion. “We were small but mighty. Bringing home 2 national titles, and 6 All-American placements between the 4 girls, is really special. I’m really proud of these young ladies. This is the future of wrestling!” Coach Jeff closed out.

Freestyle/Greco season is in full effect! Got some Outlaws already getting out to local tournaments, 3-Styles coming up next weekend, and NW Regionals the weekend after that! If you’re not signed up for those or need help registering, make sure your wrestler/parents talk to one of the coaches. We also still have room in the Little Outlaws registration. Coach Jeff will be at practice most days this week with a computer to help anyone who needs it.

Unfortunately, we have to cancel Little Outlaw's practice for tomorrow, Thursday, March 12th, 2026. We do not have enough available coaches due to conflicting events and things that came up last minute today. Teens will still have practice from 6:30pm to 8pm as normal. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. And we are back to normal Littles practice on Monday. Come ready to go!
