HORSEMANSHIP AT MOCCASIN STABLES 🐴

Learning to ride is only part of becoming a well-rounded equestrian!

During our latest Horsemanship Meeting, our students worked together to learn and identify the parts of the saddle through a fun, hands-on activity. 🐎📚

We love seeing our students build their knowledge, confidence, and independence—not only in the saddle, but on the ground as well.

At Moccasin Stables, we believe strong riders begin with strong horsemanship.

💚 Ride • Learn • Grow 💚

From “What’s a halter?” to “I got this!” — my students are doing it ALL on their own. So proud of their hard work and huge progress! lessons

Ride. Learn. Grow.
And make friends along the way.
There’s something about horses and riding together. Horses have a beautiful way of teaching us about friendship.
They don’t care about age, background, or experience — they connect through trust, patience, and kindness.

We still have open spots for middle schoolers to sign up for beginners and intermediate beginners riding lessons.

Maverick Is Thriving!
Our first rescue of the year, Maverick, is doing absolutely great. He’s officially started in our riding program and has quickly become a favorite among the students.

This past Sunday he even met his mini‑me, a new arrival to the barn — and the two clicked immediately. It’s been so sweet watching their bond grow.
