On June 5th, we proudly dedicated our new Swimming & Diving Record Board, honoring Anthony P. and Georgeanna L. Galimi P ’92, ’93 for their longstanding commitment, generosity, and unwavering support of the program.

Surrounded by alumni, families, coaches, and current student-athletes, the event was a powerful reminder of the strength of our Ram community and the generations of excellence that have shaped our program.

Yesterday’s Rowing Awards Breakfast was a wonderful celebration of an outstanding season for our program.

Congratulations to all of our student-athletes and coaches on a remarkable year highlighted by two state championships and a National Championship.

Through consistent hard work, and unwavering dedication, our rowers represented with excellence both on and off the water.

Thank you to everyone who helped make yesterday’s event such a special occasion as we recognized the accomplishments, leadership, and commitment of this exceptional group.

2026 CHSAA New York State Boys Singles Champion!

Congratulations to ’s Nicholas Joyce ’27 on an outstanding accomplishment, capturing the 2026 CHSAA New York State Boys Singles Championship.

This past weekend, successfully defended its Outdoor State Catholic Championship in dominant fashion, securing the title with a statement-making 24-point margin of victory.

With the program now having captured 7 of the last 9 Indoor and Outdoor State Catholic Championships, the Rams continue to establish themselves as a premier track & field program.

Nationals Champions! 🐏🏆

The 2026 SRAA Scholastic National Championship Regatta was held on May 22–23, 2026, bringing North America’s elite high school rowing programs to Melton Lake in Oak Ridge, TN.

Fresh off strong performances at the New York State Scholastic Championships and USRowing’s Northeast Youth Championships earlier in the month,
Senior Quad and Junior Quad traveled south to test their speed against the fastest boats in the country.

The Senior Quad (Desta Porras-Tibebe ‘26, Will Conway ‘26, Pat O’Connell ‘26, Brian Hickey ‘26) faced a tough draw in their heat against eventual gold medalists Malvern Prep (PA). With the top two finishers advancing to the final, the Rams got nipped by 1.59 seconds for second by Fox Chapel (VA).

Meanwhile, the Junior Quad (Noah Franklin ‘27, Cae Ortegon ‘27, Alex deGrandpre ‘27,
Jackson Lovatt ‘27), facing a similarly stacked field, successfully navigated the early rounds by winning both their heat and semifinal.

In the final, they took command of the race early and led throughout to capture the national championship over Western Albermarle (VA) and Germantown Friends (PA).

Though the SRAAs mark the end of the scholastic season, the Rams’ season continues, having qualified two quads for the USRowing Youth National Championships, held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, FL, from June 11 to June 14, 2026.
