Fly One Studios

Saturday, September 20, 10am–12pm, our floor belongs to one of LA’s most sought-after ballet teachers.

Bianca has spent 20 years in the studio — ballet at its core, with jazz, contemporary, modern, hip hop, and tap layered on top. She holds a BFA in Dance Theatre, trained at American Ballet Theatre, and has been teaching since she was 15. Ask her and she’ll tell you: teaching is the part she loves most.

This is a two-hour master class. Full barre, center, and across-the-floor, with the kind of individual correction you don’t get in a drop-in. Come to sharpen your technique, come to reset your fundamentals, or come because you’ve watched her on Instagram and want two hours in the room with her.

Meet Yoko Hasebe. ✦

Yoko trained professionally in New York and Los Angeles, and she teaches dancers of every age — from a first plié to full company work. Her class is built on encouragement as much as technique.

Welcome, Khilea Douglass. 👑

Khilea brings 30+ years of professional experience to the studio. She trained at the Baltimore School for the Arts, Dance Theatre of Harlem and The Ailey School, toured internationally for six years with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, danced as a soloist with Lula Washington Dance Theatre, and joined the Broadway cast of The Lion King. She's ABT National Training Curriculum certified and founded Holistic Dance Arts LLC in 2023.

She's teaching Ballet, Contemporary and Pilates with us this fall.

Welcome, Precious Gilbert. 🩰

Precious trained at Cincinnati Ballet — where she also performed with the company — before summer programs at Boston Ballet, The Rock School and The Ballet Center, and a trainee season with Ballet Austin. Since moving to LA in 2014 she's performed with Luminario Ballet as both a ballerina and an aerialist.

She's teaching Ballet, Contemporary and Aerial Arts with us this fall. We're so glad she's here.
