🥊🔥 REYES BOXING ACADEMY TAKES ON NOGALES, SONORA! 🇲🇽💪

Another great day of hard work, dedication, and growth for our team! Today we made the trip down to Nogales, Sonora, to put in some work, gain experience, and continue getting better at what we love! 🥊

I want to give a special shoutout to Anthony, Yoda, Hector, Elias, and Dorian! I’m proud of every single one of you! You boys showed up, worked hard, represented our team, and gave it your all. That’s what being part of Reyes Boxing Academy is all about! 💯

Also, a big thank you to our great friend Albert, who made the trip down to spend some time with us. Always a pleasure having good people around our team! 🤝

And of course, a special thank you to Kely, who always makes the time and effort to make these trips happen, bringing along whoever wants to come for the ride and be part of the experience. Your time, dedication, and willingness to support these boys never go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything you do for our team! 🙏🥊

As a coach, there’s nothing better than watching these young fighters grow, improve, and continue chasing their goals. Every trip, every round, and every experience is another step toward something bigger.

Great work today, boys! Proud of every single one of you! But we’re far from finished. We keep working, we keep learning, and we keep moving forward!

ON TO THE NEXT ONE! 🥊🔥💪

Yesterday’s fight didn’t go the way we wanted, but we want everyone to know what happened.
Joaquin injured his right hand back on August 1st during a TBL fight. We continued training and preparing for September 26th, hoping the hand would improve. Two days before the fight, it was still swollen and painful.
After having several fights fall through over the past year and a half, we didn’t want to cancel another one, so we made the decision to move forward. Looking back, that was the wrong decision, and as his coach, I take responsibility for it.
Joaquin fought through the pain yesterday, but every time he tried to throw or land his right hand, it hurt more. He wasn’t able to fight at 100%, but he still showed heart and finished the fight. We took the loss. Now our focus is getting Joaquin’s hand healthy and making sure we don’t rush the process again. Thank you to everyone who called, texted, and reached out to check on him. Thank you to our family, friends, supporters, and sponsors for standing behind us through the wins and the losses. We learn, we recover, and we come back stronger. 🥊

🥊 PROUD OF OUR TEAM! 🥊

Another big weekend of boxing and another opportunity for our fighters to learn, grow, and get better.

🔥 Moses Rodriguez stepped into the ring Saturday at the Walt Hoskins Boxing Show and put on a great performance. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the decision, but that’s boxing. We take the lessons, get back in the gym, and keep working. One result doesn’t define the fighter—the work continues.

🏆 Elias Rodriguez headed out Sunday to compete at the Oxnard PAL International Tournament. He fought Monday and earned his way into the finals. We came up short in the championship bout, but Elias came home with something just as important—valuable experience against great competition that will only make him better.

I’m extremely proud of both of our boxers for representing Reyes Boxing Academy with heart, discipline, and respect. Win or lose, we continue building, learning, and moving forward together.

A huge thank you to our coaching staff for all the time and work you continue putting into our fighters and our gym: Coach Doug, Coach Anthony, Coach Sam, Coach Santos, and Coach Dominick. Your dedication does not go unnoticed. 🙏🥊

Same team. Same goal. One family. ❤️🖤

We’re proud, but we’re not satisfied. Back to work. 💪🔥
