It was a special day yesterday with over 100 kids on the mat. 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝘁𝘀 | 𝗠𝘂𝗮𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶 and Caio Terra 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝗶𝘂 𝗝𝗶𝘁𝘀𝘂 every level up is earned. Immerse yourself in the process, be consistent and the rest takes care of itself.

​*Side note, for Coach Eliza this is her return to competition after 6 years away. Preparing for a big tournament half way around the world required a mental and physical investment that she had to remind herself of after years away raising kids and helping them achieve goals of their own.
​
​Diet, a consistent training schedule, mental reps, random waves of anxiety attacks - it was all there and she handled it gracefully.
​She won the finals match 9-0. 🥇 What an amazing comeback story.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

​🟦 Dean as always is a pleasure to watch compete. Honest to god the Juvenile Blue belt division is serious business as most of these kids have been training 10+ years and competing their whole life on big stages. Dean is right there at the top with the best and we worked hard to get here. That said, we have more work to do and can’t wait to get back at it. 💪🏼

🎬 Behind the scenes, it’s never just “open the doors and train.” It’s hours of work, problem solving, and details people don’t always see.

​Every time, when there are huge projects like renovations for example, 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗝𝗮𝗶𝗺𝗲 and 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀 are here with us putting in 12 hour shifts over several days to ensure everything is just right.

​They’ve played a huge role in shaping roots into a training facility that is suitable for the community we’ve built here - a community we love so much.
