To the handful of people who seem to believe that the appropriate response to not getting your way is to harass my employees or blast a local business on social media...

This one's for you.

First, let me make something perfectly clear.

My employees are off limits.

They don't make every operational decision, they don't deserve to be yelled at because you disagree with a policy, and they certainly don't deserve to be treated with disrespect simply because we chose to run a buffet instead of our regular menu. If you have an issue, bring it to management. That's literally what we're here for.

Now let's talk about this buffet.

When we first introduced it, everyone wanted a buffet. We listened. We invested in it. We built it. We hired for it. We changed our operations for it.

Then came Father's Day.

Was it perfect? No.

Did we anticipate the largest crowd we'd ever seen? Also no.

Like every restaurant trying something new, we had growing pains. The difference is that instead of some people giving us the opportunity to fix concerns in real time, they chose to run to Facebook and light the match.

What many people don't realize is that one exaggerated or misleading post doesn't just "leave a review." It affects employees, their hours, their income, and the reputation of a business that dozens of people work hard to build every single day.

Here's what gets overlooked.

Our executive chef has more than 40 years of experience, has owned restaurants, and has worked in high-end restaurants and country clubs. Our kitchen takes food safety seriously. If we make a mistake, we fix it. If something isn't right, we replace it. That's how responsible businesses operate.

What we cannot fix is a rumor that gets shared hundreds of times before anyone ever asks us what actually happened.

Constructive criticism? We welcome it.

Questions? Absolutely.

Respectful conversations? Every single day.

Harassing employees? Absolutely not.

Trying to destroy a local business because your expectations weren't met on one visit? That's not constructive—that's simply damaging.

Over the last year, we've invested heavily in this community. We've improved the restaurant, expanded entertainment, added new attractions, brought in live music, opened PKR, improved the skating rink, added golf simulators, mini golf, arcades, gaming, go-karts, and worked to create a place where families actually have something to do close to home.

Yet somehow, no matter what we improve, someone finds a reason to complain.

We're too expensive.

We're too cheap.

We're open too much.

We're not open enough.

The games don't work—even when we have video of people damaging them.

The rink has too many problems—until we fix the problems, and then people stop coming anyway.

At some point, personal responsibility has to enter the conversation.

If your child destroys equipment, steals, ignores the rules, or treats our facility like a free babysitting service, that's not a management problem. That's a parenting problem.

We're going to continue enforcing our policies.

We're going to continue protecting our employees.

We're going to continue asking customers to treat our staff—and each other—with respect.

And yes, we're going to continue making changes when they improve the business, even if every single person doesn't agree with them.

No business is perfect.

We aren't.

We never claimed to be.

But what we are is a group of people who show up every day, work incredibly hard, learn from our mistakes, celebrate our successes, and genuinely want to provide this community with a place to gather, eat, laugh, skate, race, golf, and make memories.

If you've supported us over the last year, thank you. We notice it, and we appreciate you more than you know.

If you've got a concern, come talk to us. We'd much rather have a conversation than read about it on Facebook three hours later.

And if your idea of supporting local businesses is harassing employees or trying to tear down the people working hard to serve this community, don't expect us to stay silent anymore.

Respect goes both ways.

This Saturday! Are you excited, because we certainly are!

We had 80's last time, now lets jam out with some 90's tunes! Grab your skates and your headbands or bandanas, but leave your Discman at home because we've got G. Wiz breaking it down for you once again from 6-10!

Walker rentals will need to be turned in at 5:30, as this is an ADVANCED SKATER event. Now that doesn't mean you have to leave or you aren't welcome if you're not a super awesome skater! We welcome you to still participate in the fun, enjoy some awesome tunes, play our arcade games, watch some awesome skaters get their shuffle on, or play a round of mini golf! While we're letting the focus on the floor be for more advanced and faster skaters, that doesn't mean we aren't still ready for the rest of the family to come out too! So come out and see us, let's have a great time with great tunes!

So don't be afraid to bring the fam with you! Shakey legs or no, you can still listen to the music, enjoy watching people pull of some awesome skate moves, play mini golf or use our EGaming Room and enjoy our arcade games!
