These outstanding young ladies have been working hard and are ready to compete for the opportunity to represent Cherry County and the toughest sport on dirt…. Rodeo!

We invite you to come cheer them on this Saturday, July 11!

Horsemanship will kick off the day at the Cherry County Fairgrounds.

All afternoon indoor events, including interviews, speeches, modeling, and more, will be held at the Valentine Berean Bible Church.

We can’t wait to see each contestant shine, and we’d love to have our community there to support them. Best of luck to all of our 2026 contestants!

Our Cherry County Rodeo Queen, Aleena Wagner, had a wonderful time representing Cherry County at the Camp Clarke Rodeo in Bridgeport over the Fourth of July weekend!

There is just something special about a rodeo on the Fourth of July. It’s where patriotism, western heritage, family, and community all come together to celebrate the freedoms we hold dear. We’re grateful to see Aleena representing our program and the traditions we love at such a meaningful event.

250th Birthday for the good ole USA 🇺🇸

This year has been incredible. From small-town rodeos to the huge and memorable Ft. Worth stockshow and rodeo. It's not just a shiny crown.... its the early mornings, late nights and doing it all over again.
When I first received this crown everything felt like a blur! I was overwhelmed, over joyed and everything in between. This title has helped me push through the early mornings, long nights, and the long hot days. But most important are the people that got me here from the nicknames to the inside jokes. These people have made me the person I am today. This title will remind you that through your ups and downs this title will be the thing that keeps you going but this would be possible without the parents, the sponsors, our amazing director, Brittany Starritt, and wonderful sash sisters Ellah and Aleena. These are all the reasons I would recommend running for this title. Not because of the trip to Ft. Worth or the queen camp in Kansas city, I would recommend this title because of the people you meet along the way, the role model you become and most importantly the fun you will have and the memories you will make. Cherish this title because it won't ever happen the same way.

As my year as the 2025 Cherry County Rodeo Princess ends, I think about how far I have come in just one year. Though I have been rodeo queening for a few years I am growing and learning new things everyday and having this title gave me many of those chances. I have grown in confidence, knowledge, and public speaking skills.

I’ve loved every moment of this year and I can’t believe it’s coming to an end. Representing Cherry County and its rodeo has been such an honor I don’t even know how to begin to say how grateful I am for everyone who helped me throughout my year as the Cherry County Rodeo Princess. I would like to thank my amazing director Brittany Starritt for everything she has done for me and all your support. And to my sponsors, the Cherry County Rodeo Pageant wouldn’t be possible without you guys, so thank you. A special thanks to my sash sisters it’s been such an exciting and amazing year and I couldn’t have done it without you guys beside me. And for the people who have been there with me through it all, my family.

I don’t ever regret a thing about running for this title and I loved each and every part of my journey. I can wait to see what my next year brings even though I have to say goodbye to this amazing title, but I will carry all the memories forever in my heart.
