Buses by the Bridge is huge—the lanterns at night are amazing. ✨
The best part is definitely the people. Everyone is great. Really fun catching up with friends and seeing all the Coleman gear. If you see me around, come say hi and grab a patch! 🚌🫶

Lake Havasu bound! ✈️🌵

I’m heading out this Friday for Buses by the Bridge. After hearing so much about the Friday night Lantern Walk, I decided it was finally time to head out and experience it for myself!

I’m really looking forward to a weekend of VWs, lake vibes, and catching up with the GPA family—both new and old friends. 🛠️💡

I’m bringing a stack of Old Coleman Parts patches with me! If you’re out there with your lantern, please flag me down—I’d love to hand you one and say hello.

See you at the bridge! 🌉🚐💡

Happy New Year!

Introducing the OCP Coleman 530 Stove Patch! Every year we do a shop patch—this is Year 16! It’s included with everyone's first order of the year in package shipments (not stamped envelopes).

We’re thankful to be doing this work and even more thankful for the good solid people in the Coleman community. We appreciate you all.

Time to work now. Was able to pick up two collections of lanterns and parts on my way home. One in Chicago and one in Pullman Washington. Had to get a U-Haul trailer - no way it would all fit.

Chicago was crazy - glad to head west from there. Pullman is beautiful country with rolling hills of wheat - very nice.

We have work for days and days now as we identify and then enter our new finds into the store.

Has been a long trip and I am so glad to be back! Everyone was so kind along the way. So thankful I get to do this.

Just had to stop by the man who makes THE check valve tool- Mike Wells! His shop is in Breedsville Michigan.

Mike caught some Bluegill fish for our lunch. I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never had Bluegill before, but I like new things. It was amazing - so good.

He has quite a nice shop for doing his work and a great collection of lanterns too.

Next stop was with William Huddle in Crystal Michigan.
William is very knowledgeable about most anything Coleman, but I think he has a passion for the ones powered with propane. He even has a Christmas tree made out of model 5120's in his yard.

The Great Michigan Mica Factory Tour!

Was able to visit with Rob Butts in West Branch Michigan and see the production room where all the magic happens.

Rob also has one of the finest collections of lanterns I think I have ever seen.
Really enjoyed my time and seeing his operation.

I had a meetup with Jim, who is a collector from Shrewsbury PA. We looked at his collection of great lanterns and I was able to twist his arm and convince him to sell me a few NOS parts he had sitting around - which is always a great thing for us at OCP. Very appreciative when we can get good quality stuff. Now I have to haul it all back!

The Gettysburg Coleman meet-up was a blast! It was awesome to see a crowd of Coleman fans, their families, dogs, tents, and RVs all in one place.

I was able to get my tent pitched and relax for four days, reconnecting with folks from last year and making some new friends. Just about every kind of GPA you could think of was there, even a few Tilley Flood lamps. The evening "Light Up" was a great experience.

The best parts were the potluck dinners and the visiting. Oh, and the lanterns were a pretty cool sight too! Mark your calendars for next June and come hang out with us!

The next destination was a visit with Adam Stuebgen in Sarver, PA. He has an impressive collection with some truly remarkable pieces. His machining skills come in quite handy for refurbishing his GPAs.

Afterward, he and I journeyed together to "The Coleman Shop" in Smicksburg, PA, to meet Ervin, the proprietor. It felt as though we had traveled back in time while at his shop.
