This Springer season has been filled with first salmon memories being made! This young man was very impressive as he picked up the routine immediately and quickly became my unexpected deckhand. I know he is going to make it places in life and seeing his passion for this sport gives me hope that it is going to carry on past my lifetime!

Who wants to get a chance at some Spring Chinook in the lower Columbia? I know last years opener was a banger and I have Sunday May 17,23,24 and 25th open so let’s go!!!!!

Nice morning on the water — wrapped up an early Spring Chinook limit and enjoyed some solid action along the way. Always good to see a few quality fish come over the rail and I even got the opportunity to catch one!

I’ve still got a few openings starting tomorrow and some availability through May if anyone’s been thinking about getting out. Fishing conditions are shaping up well and it’s a great time to be on the river.

All gear is provided — just bring a good attitude and be ready for a good day on the water.
