-2022 PNRFU DIII Runner-Up
The Clark County Chiefs started as a combination of young players who grew up playing with the Clark County Warriors RFC in high school and former Vancouver Sharks RFC men’s players who were seeking a place to play men’s rugby. What started as getting together playing touch rugby on Saturday’s grew into the desire to start a men’s team again in Vancouver. Clark County Chiefs Rugby Football Club was founded in August of 2015 and played it’s probationary season in PNRFU Division III for the 2015/2016 season. They fared well winning a majority of their games. A very successful season for a new team. The Chiefs wrapped up their first league season as a full member of PNRFU Division III and finished 4-3 on the year for the 2016/2017 season. They spent the summer recruiting, playing touch and playing in a limited amount of 7s tourneys, including a 1st place finish in the Corvallis 7s tournament. The Chiefs are now in their 8th season as a club. They were the 2021 DIII Champs. In that season they went on to nationals where they won their first game and lost their second, finishing 8th overall in the nation. Chiefs finished 2nd in DIII in 2022 after a finals loss to Bend Roughriders, their only loss on the season. The Chiefs are always recruiting players of all skill levels.
