As students, athletes, coaches, teachers, and families across Sarasota County head back to school, our challenge is simple:

Discipleship in action. 🙌

This Saturday, Sarasota County FCA student leaders from across the county came together to grow deeper in their faith, strengthen their leadership, and develop practical discipleship skills to impact their campuses.

Our discipleship strategy is simple:
➡️ Engage with God’s love.
📖 Equip through the Word of God.
🔥 Empower others to make disciples.

There is nothing more encouraging than watching these young leaders step boldly into the calling God has placed on their lives. We believe God is raising up a generation that will influence their schools, teams, and communities for His glory.

A huge thank you to The Bridge Church and New Day Church for opening your doors and hosting this leadership training. We are also incredibly grateful for our FCA staff and volunteers who invested their time, encouragement, and hearts into these students.

The future is bright because Jesus is at work through the next generation.

What an incredible experience at the NWCA Conference!

It was a privilege to Engage, Equip, and Empower wrestling coaches from across the country. Seeing both men’s and women’s wrestling represented made this event even more impactful.

From meaningful conversations to powerful stories of life change, one thing was clear: coaches are influencing their athletes in ways that go far beyond the sport. They are building character, investing in relationships, and pointing the next generation toward Christ.

I’m grateful for every connection made and every opportunity to represent Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Already looking forward to being back next year!

We’re excited to have our Sarasota County FCA Area Director representing Fellowship of Christian Athletes at the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Conference in Baltimore! 🤼

This is an incredible opportunity to connect with college wrestling coaches from across the country, encouraging and equipping them to grow in their faith so they can have an even greater impact on the lives of their athletes.

Our mission is simple: to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. One coach can change countless lives—and we’re honored to help them make Jesus easy to see.

Partnering for Something Greater 🏐❤️

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with Jellys Volleyball—a top-notch, community-focused volleyball club that is making a lasting impact on young athletes.

At Sarasota County FCA, we’re honored to come alongside Jellys by providing character coaching and serving as a resource for coaches, athletes, and parents. Together, we’re helping develop not only better volleyball players, but young men and women of strong character, integrity, and faith.

Thank you, Jellys Volleyball, for allowing us to be part of what God is doing through your program. We look forward to another incredible season of growing together!

🏐We are so excited for the upcoming 2026-27 club season, and are blessed by the amount of athletes, coaches, and families that have already chosen to be a part of our program!🏐

We still have a handful of openings for 15U and 16U girls, and for our 14U boys team - if you’re still looking for a club, come 🪼and experience the Jellys difference!

We love this! Our faith in Christ brings us ultimate purpose, comfort and belonging. When things of this world fade, we are left with the love of God!

Then-Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak said studying Scripture and joining regular Bible studies transformed how he viewed his career, family and identity.

“Your identity is not in your job. Our identity is in Christ,” Kubiak said. Learning that truth “took a really heavy load off,” because he came to understand, “I’m a child of God.”

“Football is something that I do,” he explained, but it does not define who he is. Kubiak said being “a good father” and “a faithful husband” matters far more than professional success.

His faith also shaped how he cared for the team: Kubiak gave every Seahawks player and coach a Bible for Christmas, calling it “the most important thing” and asking, “What better gift than that?”
