This past weekend, the Palmer Ranch YMCA and Venice YMCA partnered with Sarasota County Parks for World Ocean Day at North Jetty Park, coming together to help care for the beautiful beaches and waterways we all share. ♻️☀️

From beach cleanup efforts to family activities and environmental education, it was an amazing day spent making a difference while celebrating our community and our planet. Thank you to everyone who joined us! 💙🌎

Here’s a look at all the fun our campers have been having so far this summer. We can’t wait for all the adventures still to come!

VENICE + ENGLEWOOD SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM

🍎 Free summer meals are here! The YMCA of Southwest Florida is helping families stay nourished all summer long with FREE meals for kids and teens ages 18 and under.

Join us Monday through Friday from June 1 through August 7 at participating Venice and Englewood locations. Meals are balanced, kid-friendly, and available regardless of income or YMCA membership.

Meals must be eaten on site.

Earlier today, a medical incident occurred on our pool deck involving an adult member. YMCA staff responded immediately and followed all emergency procedures, including contacting emergency medical services.

Out of respect for those involved and their privacy, we will not be sharing additional details. The pool deck will remain closed until further notice, and all aquatic programs and activities for the remainder of today have been canceled.

We appreciate your understanding and patience.

🎓 Congratulations to our After Care and Summer Camp returners who graduated high school this year!
