She-Ra being goofy inspired me to share this thought: Every dog that comes through our doors has a personality all their own.

Some are goofy (ahem, She-Ra). Some are timid. Some are focused and ready to go at all times. Some are relaxed. Some are somewhere in between.

We love them for who they are, and we train them that way too.

Recognize Teddy? 🐶 You may have seen him on our page over the years...

Three years ago, his mom came to us because his curious, high-energy personality was starting to overshadow everything he learned in puppy training.

But she stayed committed. She kept learning. She kept showing up. She never just dropped him off and hoped for the best.

That dedication earned them their AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Urban CGC, and completion of all three training courses. 🏆

Today, Teddy is one of the stars of our VIPup program. He's obsessed with the fitness equipment... so much that he even has his own treadmill at home. 💛

That's what VIPup is all about: giving energetic dogs a fun, structured outlet while helping them keep building the skills they've worked so hard for.

There are things we never allow.

Breaking a sit, down, or stay without clear permission and release. Wait is a command obeyed immediately. No is absolute , stop whatever you are doing and look for guidance.

Training includes plenty of positive reinforcement, but also fair corrections and feedback.
