Retractable awning was installed at the trap range. Thanks to all who came out, donated their time, equipment and help to get this thing installed Wednesday. Just a little more shade for everyone to take a quick break between rounds.

All ranges will be closed till 1pm tomorrow (Thursday, July 2nd) due to BARC Electric crews trimming trees around the powerlines. This will interrupt the regularly scheduled Trap Shooting event which was supposed to stay at 10am.

Work Day June 6 2026:
Tomorrow, Saturday June 6 is our scheduled summer workday at BRSC from 9am-1pm (ending sooner if we get done sooner) There's been some requests from the grounds crew for some weed-eating help. There's going to be some minor trim painting at the clubhouse (front railing), as well as marking/painting the accessible parking areas and general cleanup. Thank you all for your continued help keeping the facilities looking good.

MEG ROGERS TO SERVE AS CLUB REP FOR NEW ICORE CLUB IN VIRGINIA!

Rivanna R***e and Pistol Club in Charlottesville, VA, will host an ICORE match on Saturday of the months that have a fifth Saturday!

Recent work on the 25yd range was done. There's been some gravel laid down by our wonderful club volunteers. They got out there on very short notice to get this stuff moved, graded and laid down before the weather happened later on in the week. A week or so earlier, the fascia boards were also replaced at the pistol range. Thanks to everyone who pitched in their time and experience to help keep our place better!

While we're at it, lets be sure that we're all responsible for cleaning up our targets. Remove the cardboard and place it back in the racks. The same with the uprights. If the uprights are damaged (the middle target) put the damaged sticks in the dumpster. It doesn't take much time to keep our stuff looking good. The brass cleanup at the pistol range, has been great!
