The night was cool and little bittersweet.
We had a good car and I let Tyler make all the calls last night and he did good. I was cautious and didn’t drive through a few guys and that cost us a few spots. We finished 10th in the feature but 7th in the points.

When the bad luck hit us hard this year, Brian and Kelly made the decision to give me an opportunity to compete in their equipment. We’ve had 3 good nights in the top 10 in the 3 nights in the car. I can’t express my gratitude for their friendship and trust.

We managed to confuse everyone with Brian in the 11 with a borrowed motor incase things went sideways. I’m happy Brian got the chance to drive my car and offer another POV on somethings I could do to make it better. We even had PJ Bozowski in it last night as his crew were getting his ignition issue figured out. The kid would have had a ride if they couldn’t have gotten it fixed in time.

The season is long and can beat you up mentally but I had Tyler to continue to tell me I suck do better all year. Without him, I wouldn’t have the success I’ve had this year or the last few tbh. We together have stacked up in the top 10 again against the big boys at the end of the season on a small budget, a tiny garage bay, run on Thursday night pizza and mosquito bites.

DD and Doug weren’t there this season as much as I’m sure they wanted to be, but they deserve credit too. They always give 💯 when they were there.

Thank you to the support I get at home from Marisa and the as***le dogs. Always making a bad night better and an outlook more optimistic.

I’m lucky to have plenty of minions on our team in the grandstands that keep us humble and motivated to do my best, I appreciate all of you!

Idk what the rest of the year holds for us but we are open to any opportunity.

In closing to our long sappy post, a huge thank you to both the partners of the 11:11 and 191! Thank you for always being there for us!

Had a solid night in Hardwood Racing 191. Brian and Kelly have truly gone above and beyond to keep me competitive, they truly are the greatest of people by far. I was given a motor to try in my own car and Brian hopped in to work out some gremlins. It was an awesome help to have his perspective because it makes me better!

We ran a solid third in the heat and locked in the handicap. Tyler told me to get away from the car. Come feature time we were able to lead some laps surviving some caution fever. It felt great in clean air! As for our 7th place finish it come from contact under the long green run with a few cars while fighting for positions. I could have give it back some but that’s not me. I’m proud of the effort and am already looking forward to this weekend coming up.

I’m beyond grateful and humbled for last night. Brian Rogers and Kelly put me in their equipment and we had back to back top 10’s in back to back nights. Not too bad considering the first time I sat in the car was about 10 mins before the feature Friday night.

I was hesitant to make any changes last night for the feature so I could learn the car. We mustered through some chaos and finished. Just what I needed to get back some confidence. Now I have some ideas rolling around the grey matter of my brain to better us. Tyler was on it a 💯 and ready!

As I don’t know what next week will bring but either way we will continue to have fun! As it says on the back of the 191 “Thanks to Family and Friends”, I couldn’t say it any better!

To all our other partners you guys have been awesome and the most supportive ever! I can’t thank you enough!

Continue to be plagued with engine issues.

Night started out awesome. All the previous weeks hard work had us proud for all we accomplished. Brian, Tyler, and myself got the car ready. Going through the engine, car, and getting my confidence back up after the heartache of last Saturday. Even Bregler popped up to get the trailer squared away after all the chaos. These guys never once blinked!

We got to honor the Jim Sr and the Gallagher family by running their panels this weekend. It was well received and truly a personal honor as they’ve always have been gracious to me and in our corner.

We had a good heat race finishing P2. It took a huge load off our minds about under the hood. We rolled out for the feature and got bounced around by a few cars and lost some spot but settled in and when I started to get a rhythm we got a miss. I pulled off believing it was something dumb with having oil pressure and only 180 on the temp gauge. Wasn’t a plug or a wire as hoped. I scoped it this afternoon and we had an issue in cylinder #5 most likely due to getting hot the week before. Disgusted it didn’t rear its head until the feature. Hopefully we can come up with a plan to finish the season quickly and get out of this 2 month funk.
