Mid Atlantic Top 32 Challenge

Another great Pig Roast put on by the Donhauser Crew & Moose Crew! Thanks to Blind Tiger Bar for coming out and handing out with us for the 4th year straight!

Cold water, cooling towels and Freeze Pops will be in the lanes for all look for the table with banner - please stay hydrated this weekend!

We know Jimmy is nice enough to let us leave our rigs for the 2 - 3 days in between the MA Race & LODRS / SN event - please follow the rules and parking spots that are off limits - also no saving of spots for your buddies who can't attend the MA Race.

Mark at D1 was nice enough to send me the sponsors map for the LODRS / Sportsnats - these are sponsors who paid for a parking spot, these spots can be parked at for the Pig Roast Weekend but you must MOVE if you are parked there for the LODRS / SN. Jimmy has a private T&T on Monday so ANY TRAILERS THAT ARE ON ASPHALT THAT ARE NOT SPONSORS MUST BE MOVED to GRASS. If you are unsure if you're in a safe spot please see Jimmy & Chad this weekend to confirm your spot as I have nothing to do with parking for the LODRS, I am just trying to have everyone play nice. I don't know who is coming to the MA race that is a sponsor, I have received calls from Iacono, Stalba, Sepanak, Kundratic, Oakes, Moses, Null, Hoopes all will at least be there or setting up camp for the D1 weekend so if your only coming for the Mid Atlantic Race then your safe but if your staying for the LODRS you need to relocate if your in one of the spots on the map.

The red portion on the map is ONLY for this weekend at Cecil County - this is the area needed for the Pig Roast and the back tree line is where the Moose Lodge helpers park their campers / rigs - the red is an estimate but please be respectful of the space needed as these are volunteers and the PR is a HUGE undertaking and make sure you say THANKS to the Donhausers and Moose Crew for all the hard work, it's not an easy task.

As most of you know transparency & communication is something I strive on with the series, we want you to know what is going on before you leave your driveway as most of you will be heading out in the AM / Mid Afternoon tomorrow. We have been monitoring the weather for Saturday and from the hourly forecast it looks like 3-4 pm is when we could see some precipitation, do we think it will be a total washout, no, but you never know anymore (should have been a weatherman), Sunday looks to be hot but good day to race we will have water and cooling towels in the lanes. I know alot of you want 2 time runs at least on Saturday and we have been trying to grant those wishes all year long as we did two at both MD & MIR but getting an event completed is also the main priority of the series, we don’t want to roll into the last weekend having to finish 6 races over a weekend and trying to find out who’s coming and not coming to the event.

So we are giving everyone a heads up that Saturday will be a ONE AND GO for Juniors, .90 & Stock / SS, for Pro Dragster and Doorslammer because you are a qualified field we will give you two. We looked at data from the 2025 event and with 2 TT and a gamblers race we ran the finals at 8:30pm which makes for a long, hot day for you the racers, my team and the Cecil staff.

We are going to try to get as much done as we possibly can, this includes the MIR event so please be ready for a call if we see all racers are out in competition and we have a window to get done a round, we apologize if that prevents you from attending but most events you go to either are one time run because buybacks are offered or as we’ve seen in the D1 double races 2 time runs one day and into R1 the next with no time runs, it’s a no-win situation either way we look at it, some are mad for only one time run, while others are mad because we did two and didn’t finish before Mother Nature intervened but at least your getting a shot at the track on the same day as a race. We all know Cecil can be tricky with weather due to the Bay only a few miles down the road so it might bypass us but we’d rather be safe then sorry, get finished, let everyone get their cars put away and enjoy the pig roast!

Going down this weekend at Cecil County! 2 races for 1 tow!

It’s race week boys and girls - time to knock the rust off after some lengthy time off - the points chases are wide open and anyone’s game at this point - you can still sign up for points if your going to make the next 6 races as we count 6 out of 10. This is when things get serious over the next 7 weeks as we get ready to crown the 2026 champs!

Piggies and Cutting Boards are in house, checks to be added in a few days - who’s taking these home next weekend at Cecil County?

Okay all my Junior Parents, bring your cash and cash apps for the Pig Roast - Blind Tiger Mobile Bar will be on hand to mix up your favorite cocktails for the annual event - look for the horse trailer while your in line to grab your meal and cool down with a Tiger Tea or another signature cocktail!
