We got into some nice yellows and a boat limit of mahi today! 9 for 13 on the yellowfin, four of which were 60-90 pounds and the rest were 30-32 inch fish. Lots of nice mahi around as well, got em on the chunk and poppers. The bite is on LFG!

We loaded up on the mahi today! The bigger fish came on the poppers. Everything else on the chunk. We also had 6 rat yellows, 31-33 inches at the Charlestown Breachway! The bite is on LFG!

To say we had to fight through acres and acres of sargassum in the beginning of the trip just to get a bite is an understatement. We marked a ton of fish and struggled with bites on the troll because of the weeds.
The mid morning bite was off the charts as we had fish blowing up on the surface and were able to get some nice yellows on poppers and jigs. Ended up with 16 yellowfin and 10 mahi. A mediocre trip turned into a pretty damn good one in the span of 40 minutes. More pics from this trip coming soon. The bite is on LFG!

Canyon fishing continues to be red got on the Yellowfin. 60-80 pound class fish with lots of 30 inch fish around, at times we had 9 rods go off on the troll. Jig em, and everyone is tight. If you can get under the smaller fish, the big ones are underneath. We broke off a big blue marlin first bite of the trip. And the night bite has started! Jig, chunk and live squid. We had to work for them today. These guys busted their ass and jigged all day, never took a break until we got the bites. Some days its easy, and some days you have to work for every bite. Today was that day. Kudos to John and his crew who jigged to the last drop, last drift to get the bites! Always remember, you cant catch em sitting on the couch! The bite is on LFG!

The Bluefin bite took a while to get going but once it did, we got into some nice fish today. Overs and unders on live macks, whiting, jigs and pink Ronz Lures LLC. The bite is on LFG!
